Hello again folks! I've got my copy OK, and there are still quite a few copies available here in London. Now, where are all the other Hayley fans in London to buy them up and put the DVD into the charts? I'll let everybody know what I think of it when I get my DVD player, so watch this space. On second thoughts, you might get bored, so watch Hayley's DVD instead! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifWelcome back Keith. The Forum's been quite busy while you've been away, but I hope you enjoy catching up with what's been going on. Bye for now, Richard

Interestingly, the manager of a local store told me that the distributors have "greatly underestimated the demand". Consequently, even the suppliers cannot get enough copies. I was also told that there have been a number of enquiries for this DVD in that very store. If that is a reflection of the level of interest across the country, eventual sales figures could be pretty good. Let's hope so!

Roger Hmm, i wasn't aware of that although it wouldn't surprise me if the big chaings like HMV understocked their high street stores. They normally only ever get in the bare minimum so there assured of selling them all and don't have to pay for storage and all that. So i'm more than glad that i chose to pre order my copy online, got it in the post today. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI've been able to have a quick look at itto see how good it is....and "good" is the operative word from what i've seen so far i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif. I did go straight to the performance of "Both Sides Now" as i've only heard a small clip fo that up to now, played it a few times over but had to go out. Looking forward to the rest later on , maybe they'll do one called "live from the UK" next time. Nick,

Hello again everybody! I've had another look in the major Central London stores this afternoon, and here's the current stock situation:- HMV, 150 Oxford Street - 9 copies. HMV, 362 Oxford Street - 12 copies. HMV, Trocadero, Piccadilly Circus - 3 copies. Virgin Megastore, Oxford Street - 3 copies. Virgin Megastore, Piccadilly Circus - 4 copies. Why not treat yourselves with a visit to London this weekend, and buy a copy of Hayley's DVD as a souvenir? For the benefit of Hayley's fans from overseas, the Piccadilly Line runs direct from London Heathrow Airport to Piccadilly Circus, then it's not far from there to Oxford Street! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifCheerio from London, Richard

Yes!!!! I received it in the post on Friday, got it from Presto Classical and they delivered it straight away.
The concert was amazing, great to see Sophie singing with Hayley for 'Across The Universe Of Time', my favourite song by Hayley. Also 'Hine E Hine' was amazing with the Maori group in the background.
The extras were great too. especially the interview with Hayley and some classic footage thrown in.
Superb!!!!!!

Hello again everybody! Today I went roaming in South East London, and I saw a few copies of Hayley's DVD in the outer suburbs as follows:- HMV, Bexleyheath - 1 copy. HMV, Bromley - 2 copies. Virgin Megastore, Bromley - 1 copy. I'll check the big Central London stores again on Friday to see how sales are going. Until then it's goodbye from me, and the DVD is a good buy from Hayley! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRichard

Yes indeed Richard, things are slowly picking up on the DVD front but I guess we'll have to wait until Hayley gets back on TV before anything much happens. Out and about in the provinces today, here's what I observed: MVC Fareham: had one "Live" DVD in last week and it's been sold (not to me ), another is on order. They have one copy of "Pure" in Hayley's slot in the classical section. MVC have the "Merchant of Venice" DVD up at no. 11 in their main chart and it's very prominent. With their "second DVD at half price" offer, I might just buy one. Woolworths: No Hayley DVDs but they have a good display of the entire Music DVD top 40 so if Hayley gets in, it should sell nicely there. No sign of "Merchant of Venice" there at all, strangely. They have no Hayley CDs in stock (I didn't expect any) but there's an empty "Hayley Westenra" slot in the CD racks so they haven't given up on her. So Hayley stuff is around in most towns I think (Fareham's small-ish), all it needs now is a bit of promotion and for Hayley to stop being invisible to the general public. Things will soon pick up again after that but I hate it when everything goes quiet like this!

Calling all Hayley fans in Dorset! Yesterday I was in Bournemouth, and I saw five copies of Hayley's DVD in Borders, by the Square. They also had three copies of her biography in the Music Book section. Buy, buy! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRichard

Hello again everybody! While I was checking the availability of Hayley's biography in Central London today, I had a look at the stock situation with the DVD:- HMV, 150 Oxford Street - 8 copies. HMV, 362 Oxford Street - 10 copies. HMV, Trocadero, Piccadilly Circus - 1 copy. Virgin Megastore, Oxford Street - 2 copies. Virgin Megastore, Piccadilly Circus - 4 copies. It looks as though very few copies have been sold during the last week, but sales could pick up after Hayley appears in the VE Day concert at Trafalgar Square on Sunday 8th May, to be televised on BBC1. I'll be watching it on TV! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBye for now, Richard

Just a reminder to everyone in the USA...the Live from New Zealand DVD will be on sale on Tuesday, May 3rd. I will see if the DVD is listed in any sales ads from stores like Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart etc. in my Sunday paper.

Hmmm, it doesn't seem to be doing anything at Amazon.com at the moment (no. 1,800) so maybe they are doing no promotion in the US, as in the UK? Better news from NZ though, it's upto no. 3 in their new music DVD chart. [edit: correction - I don't think it's officially gone Gold - not yet anyway!]

Hi all, Not only are stores NOT promoting the DVD, they aren't even stocking it! I went to my local Wal-Mart and Target stores (both major US retailers) and haven't located a single copy in either store. It's quite possible that Borders or some of the music shops in the shopping malls may stock it.
I may have to send my lucky ferret loose shop to suss it out!
