You don't need to "put an age on me", Stef. That happened of its own accord! Roger

Hayley, if by any chance you should read this, I would recommend having a listen to Sandy Denny. There is a tenuous connection between Sandy Denny and Hayley: Sandy was the only guest vocalist ever to appear on a Led Zeppelin album, on the song "The Battle of Evermore" which was written about...The Lord of the Rings. Back on topic, one of the purest voices I've heard in rock is the late, great Freddie Mercury. I think that Hayley could definitely do justice to one or two of Queen's songs, particularly something haunting like "Who Wants to Live Forever" or as simple and heartfelt as "Love of My Life". Other rock songs which would be interesting, how about "More Than Words" (by Extreme) or "Open Arms" (originally by US soft rock band Journey)? James

Hi Peter, WOW...no problem! ...Now come to think of it there is another song that I would love to hear Hayley sing is the theme song from "The Titanic".......And yes she would do a fantastic job of that also. My Very Best, Howard Which of course links us rather nicely to the Pocahontas thread and what Hayley had to say about that! Peter S.

A couple of things I would like 1. More a cappella singing. IMO some songs, like Abide with Me for example, would have been better if sung completely a cappella throughout. I find the backing, and especially the drums intrusive. I have nothing against Hayley's backing musicians, but a lot of my favourite tracks have a maximum of Hayley and a minimum of other people. So perhaps a song composed by Hayley, and sung a cappella or with Hayley accompanying herself as on Sonny would be ideal. 2. Certainly I would like more of Hayley's own compositions. There were four on Treasure, and all four are good songs that I enjoy listening to. I could almost see her becoming like most of the more successful pop artists like the Beatles, who stopped recording other people's songs altogether after the first two or three albums.

How do like Vivo Per Lei? Her live duet with Bocelli is brilliant.

Today i heard the song "Hijo de la luna" from spanish group Mecano, on the radio. This songs was once performed by Monserrat Caballe and Sarah Brightman too, and i'm sure there are other versions. This would be a fantastic song for Hayley, her first spanish song!!! What do you think of it nl.youtube.com/watch?v=A3REPMDSCh4&feature=relatedGreetz JOYCE.

Hi Joyce,
I didn't know the song but yes, I rather like it. A version by Hayley could be very interesting and it might increase her popularity not only in Spain but in Spanish speaking countries around the world.

Nice song but I can't imagine Hayley liking some of the choreography? This version (Sarah Brightman) might suit better (apart from the dress): nl.youtube.com/watch?v=xZEUYbsZkaQ&feature=relatedPaddy

Hello Everyone,
I have said it before that I would not like Hayley do a song that she has done on previous albums.....BUT.....I would like to hear her sing Pokarekare Ana in English. Many times when I play that song I open up Hayley's bio and follow along with the English translation, beautiful words, and I think that would be interesting to hear, it will make it somewhat a different song. It would really be nice.
My Very Best, Howard USA

Hi Joyce and Paddy Neither version of this song by Mecano or Sarah Brightman did much for me. Having said that, I think the song has merit and I'm sure Hayley' version (if she were ever to perform it) would put everyone else in the shade (For me at least! ) Best wishes Grant
