Hi Northern Lights,
I think we can safely assume that Hayley is not likely to include any song that has been released on one of her earlier albums. Having said that, 'The Last Rose of Summer' is not impossible as it only appeared as a duet with Meav. In a situation like that, she just might consider recording a solo version. It is far more likely though, that she would favour completely new material - new to her, anyway.
Of all your suggestions, I especially like the idea of You Raise Me Up.

It would not surprise me also to see several new compostions of her own. This is a direction that Hayley has intimated she wants to take several times in the past including in her new book. Let's hope that Decca agree.

I like You Raise Me Up too, and a solo version of the Last Rose of Summer would be great! However, I know we're not getting most of these songs!

Hi Everyone,
From what Hayley has said in her book we could see a few more songs that she has written herself, which would be very interesting.
I really like the idea of 'You Raise Me Up', it is a fantastic song and I know Hayley would sing a wonderful version.

Hello... I would like to hear Hayley sing "I Believe" and yes "Dulaman" I understand she put the Hayley touch to that... And I would like to hear new songs that hopefully Hayley will write, so far I like everything that she has written at that matter I like everything that she has sung... Whatever you pick for your new album Hayley I know I will enjoy it... Howard

Hi Howard,
I don't think anyone has suggested 'I Believe' before, but yes, I could imagine Hayley doing that. Some might say it has already been covered by so many artists but the same is true of a few songs that Hayley has recorded ('Amazing Grace' and 'Danny Boy' for example) but her versions are immensely popular.

"Wasn't it good" recorded by Tina Arena from her "Ask" album back in 1995. This song would perfectly marry with Hayley's style and could be a solo on piano only.

Wasn't it good- that would be the 'new Sonny!'
What's I Believe? I've never heard it before. I know its a song, by the way.

I've got one more idea- on the UK, German, or US version, maybe the Mummer's Dance? It's never been on an album from one of these places, as far as I know (except for it being on the US Walmart version, but that's not as common as the regular version) Was it also on a UK special edition?

Hi Northern Lights,
The Mummers' Dance appeared on certain versions of two different albums. It was on the Australian and New Zealand Special Editions of Pure, and the Japanese version of Odyssey, but not on the UK versions of either.
Although I agree it would be nice for those of you in other parts of the world if it were included on a future album, I doubt if Hayley would consider including it again. She has been performing it for a very long time now (admittedly not as often as some songs!), and I expect she would prefer to move on to something entirely new.

Hi again, Well Northern_Lights "I Believe" goes something like this.."I believe that every drop of rain that falls.." sorry those are the only words I know, and I even applogize that I sound like a frog...it is a great song however... And Mummers Dance, I was able to get it as a bonus song through Walmart in the USA. That song it is really different, very interesting, I love it...I would like to know more about it.
But one thing I wish all her albums had the same songs not different ones for each country, (I guess that also has to do with marketing)..because I really won't mind paying extra to get everything in one album instead of buying 2 or 3 of the same & hunting them down. But if I remember correctly in Hayleys' book she mentioned that she would like to see that also not to put out a different album for each country.
Also, I notice some members are requesting songs that appear in past albums, but for me I would like Hayley do different songs not repeats. I would love to hear Hayley sing as many different songs as possible. I D E A....maybe she should start with the letter "A', do all songs that begin with "A" and just work through the whole alphabet....

Hi Northern Lights, I Believe goes something like this.."I believe that every drop of rain that falls.." sorry those are the only words I know.... Allow me! [cough]. It's in the key of W. Well, it is when I sing it anyway! All together now... I believe for every drop of rain that falls a flower grows I believe that somewhere in the darkest night a candle glows I believe for everyone who goes astray someone will come to show the way I believe, I believe
I believe above the storm the smallest prayer will still be heard I believe that someone in the great somewhere hears every word Every time I hear a newborn baby cry or touch a leaf or see the sky Then I know why I believe[Tumultuous applause] Thank you! Roger PS. Sorry, I don't do encores!
