Summer Rain
And I know that I’ll see you again ... Now I know that I've heard that line — or something just like it — before.

Hello everyone, thanks for all your efforts so far! Now here are the lyrics for my favourite song on the album... except that until today i didn't know if it was my favourite or not, there are six others very close behind or level! This is a transcription after listening to the song several times and is subject to error - especially where marked in italics and with [?]. It's what Roger and I both came up with - completely independently. Alternative suggestions for the tricky bits will, of course, be considered - especially from natives of New Zealand! Cheers, Dave

Thanks Ross! Have you realized how they don't have the lyrics to her original songs? Dori

Here are the lyrics for Whispering Hope:
Soft as the voice of an Angel Breathing a lesson unheard Hope with a gentle persuasion Whispers her comforting word
Wait, till the darkness is over Wait, till the tempest is done Hope for the sunshine tomorrow After the shower is gone Whispering hope Oh, how welcome thy voice Making my heart In its sorrow rejoice
Whispering hope Oh, how welcome thy voice Making my heart In its sorrow rejoice

Nada SouSou (English version) from the Japanese Edition. BEGIN & Ryoko Moriyama English Lyrics: Suzi Kim
Turning the pages of old photographs I whisper thanks to each and every one Deep in my heart you have come, come to Live Sure as the sun to see me through
Come rain or shine however the day may be You shelter me with your smile However far your memories may fade Traces of you I hope to find Then you appear and I drown in my own tears
I wish on a star, the first star of the night You'll find me here every evening of the year As twilight approaches I look to the sky Searching for you with all of my heart
In grief and joy I long for you and your smile Hoping you feel the way I do If only you could find me from where you are I do believe somewhere in time I do believe I will see you once again
Come rain or shine however the day may be You shelter me with your smile But as each memory of you fades away I'm so alone longing for you You're on my mind as I drown in my own tears
Missing you so I'm missing you so You're on my mind as I drown in my own tears

The Last Rose of Summer - duet with Meav from Celtic Woman
'Tis the last rose of summer left blooming alone All her lovely companions are faded and gone No flower of her kindred, no rosebud is nigh To reflect back her blushes and give sigh for sigh
I'll not leave thee, thou lone one, to pine on the stem Since the lovely are sleeping, go sleep thou with them Thus kindly I scatter thy leaves o'er the bed Where thy mates of the garden lie scentless and dead
So soon may I follow when friendships decay And from love's shining circle the gems drop away When true hearts lie withered and fond ones are flown Oh who would inhabit this bleak world alone? This bleak world alone

I believe this is on the UK Odyssey, but here we are:
Scarborough Fiar
Are you going to Scarborough Fair? Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. Remember me to one who lives there. He once was a true love of mine.
Tell him to make me a cambric shirt. Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. Without no seam, nor needlework. Then he'll be a true love of mine.
Tell him to buy me an acre of land. Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. Between salt water and the sea strand. Then he'll be a true love of mine.
Are you going to Scarborough Fair? Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. Remember me to one who lives there. He once was a true love of mine.

I believe this is also on the UK Odyssey with that gorgeous video she created for it, but for the rest of the world....more lyrics.....
The Water is Wide
The water is wide, I cannot get over Neither have I wings to fly Give me a boat that can carry two And both shall row, my love and I
Where love is planted O there it grows It grows and blossoms like a rose It has a sweet and pleasant smell No flower on Earth can it excel
A ship there is and she sails the sea She's loaded deep as deep can be But not so deep as the love I'm in I know not if I sink or swim
Oh love is gentle and love is kind Sweet as a flower when first it is new But love grows old and waxes cold And fades away like the morning dew
Absolutely beautiful!!! Dori

Le Notte Del Silenzio
Pages that I wrote with you They still remain Words do not change I hold them near
Echoing inside my mind Are thoughts of you They pull me through Each troubled time
The melody I hear Is ringing pure and clear
Le notte del silenzio Per te adesso canto Ricordi d'un perduto amore Che io rivivro Fino a trovare te Sara un incanto Sara fermare il tempo E dolce vivere di te E nel silenzio un canto
Silent nights I sing for you Each one a call Each one is more Than I can bear
Holding out to see your smile It lights the world Your soul unfurled Covers my fear
On gentle winds they wing They know it's for you I sing

Thanks ZENCAT. Seeing the lyrics to Le Notte Del Silenzio written down changes the whole song for me. I've been listening to it for weeks but not quite taken it in, I have the attention span of a goldfish or an ostrich i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifNow that I see the whole song written out I realise how beautiful it is. wow. I can hardly believe how deep some of these songs run. Which brings me to the question Why don't they include the lyrics with the CD. I suppose I will just have to get the Japanese version with Nada SouSou on it, the lyrics to that look great too. But I've never heard it. A little something to look forward too. Anyone know if the lyrics are included on the Japanese Version ? Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee......................................................... comet

Well, make your mind up - which? Indeed, thank you Zencat for the 'Le Notte' lyrics. Comet, I assume one reason why the lyrics are not included in the CD is to keep production costs down but yes, they are included in the Japanese version. Roger
