Hi Dane We have revitalised this thread after 2 years! Work on this piece is still in progress, but the original piece on Lute is about 3 times as long as the version that Hayley sings - I will have to rearrange it. I am thinking about doing a few recordings of my pieces that I love and posting them on Youtube. I also love playing along to Summer Fly on this album as well - anyone who can play guitar can strum along to this song - chords are G minor, C minor and D7 - capo at 3rd fret (for anyone who is interested!) A fellow member (Jono88) and I have thought about starting up a new thread to deal with how to play some of her songs.
It would most probably be just the lyrics with the chord symbols over the top, as I can't do much else without infringing copyright from other sources.

I've recently picked up the guitar and learned a lot of chords, so I've been playing out of my Pure and Odyssey songbooks. But there was never a Treasure songbook, so I would love chords for those songs!  |

My Treasure CD arrived today!
I ordered it last friday from CDJapan (as they don't have this CD here in NL)
I also ordered Odyssey and Pure, these two were available on a Dutch internet store. Though Pure will also come in today, I have to wait few weeks for my Odyssey CD...
I had a big laugh about the fact that I ordered all the way from Japan and that order came in a lot earlier then the Cds I ordered in my own country. I suppose they have to order it in also from....somewhere.
Though I'm patient, I'm listening to the 2nd track and I simply love it! Also Santa Lucia is my favourite till so far....

I don't think Hayley has much control of things like releases of old material, or which countries her albums get released in. I know that is what she once said to me when I asked her about relesing her Japanese songs albums worldwide.

Well, that doesn't mean she couldn't bring up the idea to her record company. But, she's already had a Best of album. But then, I doubt we'll get any new album from Hayley till 2014, so we might need something to keep us happy. |
