Now i know it is difficult but if you could name some, i will put my 5 down once i can get the exact names from the case. :: now where is it ::
Why 5, cos 1 would be virtually impossible.

1. Dark Waltz ............ Hayley's singing is nothing short of astonishing in this song, especially when she voices the final word "light". 2. Benedictus ............ one could not ask for a more pleasing mix of ethereal vocals and insanely bombastic orchestration. 3. River of Dreams ............ on a scale of one to ten I would rate this ravishing song somewhere in the upper 90's. 4. Who Painted the Moon Black? ............ I dunno who painted it either, but he sure gave her a beautiful song to sing. 5. Heaven ............ this is the song I would readily die to, not that I have any desire to expire in the forseeable future. It's just so transcendentally easy on the ears.

You do ask difficult questions, Nick i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMind you, after three months of having the CD, and playing it at least twice every day, I have managed to work out a formula to express how I have managed to narrow it down:- There are fourteen tracks on the International Edition, so my current position is "perm any 5 from 14". I will continue to work on it and let you know. Keith.

Okay, i've taken a look at the case and had a listen a couple of dozen times or so... Now i know this is a bit of a cop out for the time being but i will name the 5 favourite tracks but not in any order as yet. Tracks >> "Across the Universe of time", i have really taken t it since i got the re issue. "Heaven" I just really like it, so serene, especially the bit with the last chorus where you have the line "star shining brightly". "Dark Waltz" Exvellence, musical bliss "Beat of your Heart" Ditto "Hine E Hine" Ditto, i didn't want to keep saying the same plaudits. Oh know, maybe i should have said your favourite 6 tracks, I’m out of numbers. Might need to have another listen then, hmm, no problem Nick,

There are many contenders for 6th place!

Hello folks, I've only just found this thread, believe it or not!!! I'm going to try to pick from the Special UK Double-CD Edition, so that's 13 + 7 tracks to choose from....... Hmm! After a very long deliberation, I'm down to a short list of 20! Perhaps I'll be more decisive about the next album, but somehow I doubt it! Cheerio from a very cold, snowy London! Roll on Spring, and Olympia! Richard

Pokarekare Ana Never Say Goodbye Who Painted The Moon Black?
My top three favorites, and also the first three on my CD. I have the UK import, so I'm not sure if these other two are on the US release. It's two CDs as well, right?

Interesting that only two people have gone for Benedictus. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI'm still having trouble choosing five favourites. But then, I haven't had the album for very long (well, eight version of it). I only got the first one 21 months ago. I'll try though. These are in no particular order. Benedictus - I just love the orchestral backing and the way Hayley's voice sails right over the top. Hine e Hine - It's a beautiful song, beautifully sung. And I love the Maori interlude in the middle. River of Dreams - Such a beautiful version of Vivaldi's Winter. And what a fabulous job Hayley does with it. Across The Universe Of Time - it's just gorgeous. Dark Waltz - So atmospheric. Apart from that, I like any of them that includes Hayley, Oh! That's all of them. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifKeith.

Hi Jasmine, The five songs that you listed are all on the US version. The US version has just the one CD and, for some reason, doesn't contain the track "My Heart and I". Although I don't have the UK Pure Special Edition, I do have the 15 track Australian release Pure (with a bonus Xmas CD w/ four songs) and an International release (14 tracks w/ bonus VCD).

1. Who Painted The Moon Black 2. Across The Universe Of Time 3. Pokarekare Ana 4. River Of Dreams 5. Benedictus Well, that was my choice 16 months ago. I knew it would change. My revised favourite tracks are: Pokarekare Ana Wuthering Heights Hine e Hine Benedictus Across the Universe of Time The most significant change is the inclusion of 'Wuthering Heights'. To be honest, I never liked the Kate Bush version and was disappointed when I first saw that Hayley had recorded it. However, it grew on me, especially when I saw her perform it live during the Pure Tour. Since then, I obtained the US version of Pure which contains a different version of this song - infinitely better in my opinion. It then became a very firm favourite. I wonder what I'll go for in another 16 months! Roger
