Ditto! I'd love a duet with Michael especially. It would would also be cool for Hayley to cover MB's "Hollywood". Not her usual style, but it would DEFINITELY be cool. And I still want her to record "Sweet as Honey from her TW Paradiso tour. -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Yes, a duet with Josh and Michael! Yes, she finally recorded a song in French.. World in Union doesn't count that much to me because, yeah, it's in French, but it's the same song as the one in English, Maori, Japanese, etc.... wait, we haven't heard the Italian version yet, have we? There was supposed to be a version in Italian. Anyway, while the Christmasy French song was great, I'm still hoping for more... maybe a more romantic one. You know why. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif But yeah, I want something non-Christmasy, too.

Do you have the French version of World in Union? I only have English, English/Maori, Maori (my favorite), and Japanese!! I'de love to hear the French and Italian. Was that all of them? I love the Christmasy French song on Paradiso!♥ I'm all for more of that! Jenny♥

I'll See You In C-U-B-A by Irving Berlin
The Sheik of Araby by Ted Snyder
Neath The Southern Moon by Victor Herbert
Italian Street Song by Victor Herbert (She's definitely got the range to hit a high C four times.)

I'm really holding out for that "non-themed" album Hayley promised us a while back! I wouldn't be against Hayley doing jazz, but no, definitely would not want it to take up a whole album. Variety is the spice of life.

Well, there is jazz and jazz. I'm not really a jazz fan either. But for me, good music well performed is enjoyable no matter what label anyone puts on it. And I'm sure Hayley woud make as good a job of jazz as she does of all the other genres of music that she performs.

Larry I have to agree with Larry on this one. While I wouldn't bet against Hayley pulling it off, as she can be very surprising, Jazz is very different to anything else she's sung. It's not always about having an incredible voice. Sometimes it's about how you use it.

Yeah, we're not questioning Hayley's ability to do it, we just aren't too sure whether we'd really like it that much or not. If Hayley sticks more to her own songwriting, the likes of what she normally does (i.e. Summer Rain, All With You, etc.), that's where she really shines. Of course, she could write a jazz song, but I really doubt it.

There's also "Scarlet Ribbons" and "Jamaica Farewell". Soft ballads. And the old Jamaican folk song "Linstead Market". What a tear-jerker.

And some old-time calypsos:
"Jean and Dinah" by the Mighty Sparrow.
"Rum and Coca-Cola" by Lord Invader (this one is more famous as an Andrews Sisters song, with altered lyrics.)
