Hayley sounded pretty singing Hallelujah, but my favorite version is by Jason Castro from American Idol 2008.

Hello Libby! The only video I can find of Hayley singing "Hallelujah" is with the Canadian Tenors at the Union Chapel in Islington: www.youtube.com/watch?v=69MtGSAjDH0It wasn't recorded by one of our members. Richard

It wasn't recorded by one of our members. So? Obviously I've already seen that if I can say Hayley sounds pretty singing it.

Hi, Libby, I think here Richard got a little confused, when you said to look to a video in Youtube by Drew you meant "I hope I never", but since rightm after you commented on "Hallelujah", I think Richard got it wrong. Where did that come from, don't remember ever seeing it before. Excellent peformance still shines through despite the distracting crown noise. Thanks for the link Richard and for uploading the vid Drew.

I just came across this song (although those of you in the Scotland probably already know it). I think Hayley's voice would be perfect for it. I don't think she is Scottish, and I'm not sure if she would sing it outside of Scotland. But the original tune was composed without words, and Hayley could probably write her own words. Interesting song, Sonata! If Scotland becomes independent, that could be the new national anthem, och aye the noo! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI can imagine Hayley changing the title to 'Christchurch Cathedral'. Richard

Hi Tony,
Sorry, but because of copyright rules, we cannot allow links to commercially available / full versions of Hayley's songs on YouTube or anywhere.
Thanks for understanding, Joe

I would love for Hayley to cover "My Immortal" that would be so beautiful!

It's been a while since someone posted in this thread... But I thought it would be fun to see how many of our requests came true! Let's see... ... Lascia Ch'io Pianga ... Time To Say Goodbye ... Nella Fantasia ... Danny Boy ... Well, there's four! I would love to hear her do Lascia Ch'io Pianga... Scarborough Fair and The Water is Wide... Another two. Hmmm, just to keep this list going: ... Shenendoah ... One more. I'd like to hear a completely original song of Hayley's, just to see what she wants to sing about, as opposed to her doing covers of other songs. We've seen plenty of that now, haven't we? 'You Raise Me Up' is a wonderful choice. Let's start a petition! Well... Kind of. She did perform it with CW on the DVD... ... The last rose of summer ... Done! I'd like her to do some Japanese songs like "Hanamizuki", "Yuki No Hana" and "Shiroi Iro Ha Koibito No Iro". ... Who would've guessed? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI think Hayley should sing Cinema Paradiso. It is one of my favourite songs... That would be right on two counts, now wouldn't it? ...I think she should sing a song in French sometime... Also done twice. So that would make 16 requested covers, 5 completely original songs (3 on Winter Magic, & "Let Me Lie" and "Summer Rain" from Treasure), and 23 pre-existing compositions which Hayley helped write lyrics for. She's done more writing than I realised! Must've been all those Japanese albums... -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifP.S.- Sweet Home Alabama (as I heard her sing it on a NZ TV Interview and loved it) WHAT!?!?!?!?! SOMEONE POST A LINK NOW!!!

That's pretty awesome. How often do you think Hayley checks in here at HWI?
Honestly, I wish Hayley would duet with either Josh Groban or Michael Buble. That would be interesting. I also think Hayley should do a studio recording of more songs in Chinese!!! And more in Japanese, of course (my favoroite language)
