Welcome Melody!
I've not had the opportunity to listen to Jonathan Ansell yet, and now looks like a good time to do so!
Glad that you and your daughter enjoy Hayley's music !
Best wishes, Joe

Hello Melody and a very warm welcome to the forum from me too. I am not very familiar with Jonathan Ansell's music but the samples I heard from his album are very good. In fact, I might be even tempted to buy it! Thank you again for letting us know about the Hayley duet. Stephany

I would love to see Hayley and Jonathan perform the duet live on a tv appearance. I wonder if they ever will. It would be a real treat. Love Melody xx

Hi again folks. I dont know whether you people go in for requesting Hayley's songs on the radio - but a few of us on Jonathans official site are going to be requesting the Romeo and Juliet Duet on some radio stations for Valentines Day. The sort of stations we are requesting on are: Classic FM - Jamie Crick, Radio 2 - Elaine Page, Alan Titmarsh, Chris Evans, Aled Jones,Jonathan Ross, Ken Bruce, Steve Wright, Wogan etc I thought I'd let you know so you can maybe listen out - we might get lucky. If anyone would like to join in the requesting that would be even better. Fingers crossed we might get it played. Love Melody xx

That's a great idea, Melody! Of course the album isn't due for release until February 18th, four days after Valentine's Day, but the radio stations should be able to give it a few preview plays. Love, Richard xxx

Hi Folks. While you are at it would you put in a request for some of Hayley's music to be played too.Delighted to see Elaine Paige listed there too, does she have a radio programme ? We still use wire coat hangers for radio reception here on the old [censored].

According to Jonathan at one of the stations on the Radio Tours today - he and Hayley are singing the duet at the Classical Brits! My dream is coming true - to see them perform together! The DJ at the radio station played the duet out during the show. It was so beautiful if made me cry. Love Melody xx

I am over the moon with the news - such a beautiful song and they sing it together so emotionally. Jon was talking on another radio station today and he said he felt it was an incredible honour for him to get to sing with Hayley. In a previous interview he was talking about how wonderful it was to be in the studio listening to her recording her part of the duet with her wonderful voice. I'm so excited to hear and see them perform it together! Love Melody xx

Officially unconfirmed as it is (although, as Jonathan is reported to have said it, I've got my fingers and toes crossed!), it's still going to be enough to get me in on the hunt for tickets for the Classical Brits, when they go on sale. I do like Jonathan's voice so it sounds like a duet not to be missed! Cheers, Dave

Hello all, "Un Giorno Per No" is also known in America - we know the song as "A Time for Us" (also the Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet) - and it has been recorded by a number of name artists here in the past. I think that Johhny Mathis may have even charted with it back in the early 70's Speaking personally, I found the sample of Hayley singing this to be very impressive. I am not a big advocate of the general wisdom of doing the 43rd cover of a song, but the song fits her voice like a glove. I have nothing against Jonathan's voice, but I actually found it a bit jarring when he came back in towards the end of the sample. It was sort of like the first time I heard Pokareare Ana (the original version) and they disturbed that wonderful acapella with mere musical instruments Jon
