Yes, Crystal! I think it really is a pretty name as well as Pure. Also, it has a subtitle like Classical Favourites and like the title, it contains beautiful classic pieces. This is a real treat especially for fans who love to hear her classical songs, including me. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThanks Dave for clearing me up - I'd better not buy that. I don't buy many things from eBay, either, unless it's something really rare like the Wuthering Heights single I got yesterday! (It is a promo, though.) My favourite on Crystal is Lascia ch'io pianga (Track 1), one of the songs I have loved for years. She sings it so beautifully I almost cried the first time I heard it! Anna

You're not alone, Anna. Hayley has had many of us in tears - me included. Roger

Hello everybody! Many thanks to Anna for the link and the information. My favourite of the new songs is the piece by Handel, track 1 on 'Crystal'. I really must try and learn the title, but I find it incredibly difficult to remember! Richard Hi Richard, it's my favourite, too! But I don't understand why you say it's difficult to remember - I assume you mean this one: Dave No, Dave. Take another look at Richard's post. Apparently he has difficulty in remembering the title, 'Crystal'! Great clip, Dave. It would have caused me to put it on my wish list... except it is already there! Roger

Then let me help you Richard with a second post! I am not familiar with the song, but the title rings bells of a lovely poem by Eliot La Figlia Che Piange
The opening verse is: Stand on the highest pavement of the stair-- Lean on a garden urn-- Weave, weave the sunlight in your hair-- Clasp your flowers to you with a pained surprise-- Fling them to the ground and turn With a fugitive resentment in your eyes: But weave, weave the sunlight in your hair.

Hi Folks, Just got one of these from E bay . DECCA No. is UCCL-1103
Curiously it has "SAMPLE LOANED" printed in the clear part at the centre of the disc in a redish pink. nor does it have a bar code. I wonder does this mean it was a PROMO version. but it does have the OBI paper strip outside the case but inside the cellophane.

Hi Comet
Looks like you've got something a bit unusual there. The Japanese CD's don't use the standard Decca Catalogue numbers, prefering to stick with the 'UCCL' code.
I have looked closely at my copy and the centre clear section of the CD carries a bar code; the Universal logo in several places and an additional number IFPI L245.
Perhaps it might be useful to post some scans when you have time.
Best wishes Grant

I've just got Crystal two days ago and I'm desperate for the album cover. I've seen many with a low resolution, but since I need to have it in iTunes, one with higher resolution is required. I wonder if any of you who can do a scan help me out a bit? Thanks a million.

Hi, It is white over with snow outside. I am just listening to track 14 Amazing Grace on Hayley's Crystal album. I must be getting close to my target as it is the first CD I have played in my 'catch up' where there are no 'new tracks' for me. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifJust playing.. Pokarekare Ana the last track Graham

By the way, I've always been wondering what exactly 'UCCL' means. I've Googled it but came up with nothing. Does anyone know?
