Hi Grant, Tracy and everyone,
Countless reports have been made to Proboards about this fault that seems to have affected all Proboards forums worldwide. No reason has yet been given but all seems to be well now.

Has the server been down the past 24 hours or so or was it just me. I tried connecting to another proboards music fansite which I also couldn't connect to. The proboards status website said all was well but I couldn't get to the proboards forums at that time either to ask why I couldn't connect *rolleyes*, hehe.

Hello Tasslehoff, My apologies for your trouble visiting this forum. It's quite possible that ProBoards servers were down a short time, as last weekend there was a considerable downtime. Hello everyone, For a change, there are currently intermittent difficulties in connecting to the main hwi website www.hayley-westenra-international.com/ due to a problem at our hosts, servage.net. Until this is resolved, the main website may be inaccessible and any downloads of videos, photos etc. linked from the forum may be unavailable at times. The same applies to certain "custom" icons/smilies/avatars. Hopefully these intermittent problems will be sorted out before too long. Dave |

Hi everyone, Sorry about the missing icons and forum logo! The images are stored on the main HWI website and it looks like our website hosts have changed one of the settings today, which stopped images from displaying in other websites (like Proboards). This was probably part of an attempt by them to fix yesterday's intermittent access problems on our site (and I am sure many other sites). I have now changed the settings back to what they were before, but it will probably take several hours for them to take effect. GRRR!!! Dave Edit: Fixed - less than 90 minutes, cool!  |

The forum appeared to be down for a couple of hours this morning between 9'ish and 11'ish. I checked the ProBoards Support website and there was confirmation that there were general forum loading issues this morning but normal service is now restored .

Thank you for mentioning this, Joe.
There is a fault on HWI's server at Servage.net (our web hosts) and they have had to lock us (and all other websites on that server) out for about 6 hours while they carry out maintenance to resolve the problem.
Unfortunately, this affects not only the main site but also various forum images and icons stored on the HWI website (and my avatar!),
Hopefully, it will be back to normal within the next few hours.

Unfortunately there are further problems at the moment. Most of the forum images are missing and the HWI main site appears to be completely down.

Sadly, the fault of our website hosts of three days ago is currently recurring (though I have no official status report from them yet). Needless to say, if this persists for any length of time, I will be asking serious questions about why they didn't apparently fix it permanently the first time.  Apologies for the consequences: missing forum icons and currently unavailable main website. EDIT 18:58 BST - NOW FIXED EDIT 21:58 BST - Here we go again, broken again. Heads will roll.
