Hi All (and Stephany in particular) Will Martin was a guest on the BBC Radio 2 Roger Royle radio programme this morning between 0700 - 0900. (0816 onwards). He talked about his forthcoming debut album from which Roger played a few tracks including Hine e Hine.
Well worth a listen again via the BBC radio website (Will appears in the second half)..

Do we need a new sub-topic for "vingles"?

What would I do without you, Richard? Thank you so much for informing me about this.
I'm returning to France on the 27th so should be able to listen to the program on the radio without being troubled by the different time zone!
Love xxx Stephany

I must apologise to anybody who tuned in at 7:30pm yesterday and missed the first half hour of 'Friday Night is Music Night'. Unfortunately the BBC changed the transmission time in order to cover the switching-on of the Blackpool Illuminations. They looked fabulous on the radio, and I was only listening in black and white! You should be able to listen to the show at any time during the next week, but sadly the BBC missed the first thirty minutes too: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00d48gs/Will Martin gave an excellent performance singing 'Nature Boy', 'The Last Rose Of Summer', 'So Far Away' and 'Going Home'. Hi Richard, Thank you very much again for informing us about 'Friday Night is Music Night'. Fortunately I tuned in a bit earlier just when Will Martin was performing his first song so I hope I didn't miss much His 24th birthday is tomorrow by the way - not today, as stated by the radio. I particularly liked his performance of 'So Far Away' with the full orchestra. It's the only song among the four I still haven't heard in concert. Love Stephany xxx

Oh, Happy Birthday Will! Looks like "Sunday night is party night" Darn...I don't have Real Player. I wanted to hear "Nature Boy", I loved Nat King Cole's version. Best wishes, Will ! Joe

Hello Joe! I don't think you need to install Real Player in order to use the BBC's new iPlayer. Unfortunately this was a live show and Will Martin sang 'Nature Boy' during the first half hour, which the BBC failed to record for the 'listen again' facility. However, Drew videoed Will's performance of the song in Coventry Cathedral on 4th April 2008, when he appeared with All Angels:- www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8Eua7gahnA Best Wishes, Richard

Hi everyone Will Martin was interviewed by Clyde2 Radio this afternoon and he was asked about a possible duet with Hayley Westenra. He said that it will definitely happen especially knowing that they're both signed to UCJ. Will also added that he has two songs in mind for this duet but he didn't want to spill the beans so we must be patient . Joyce - thank you very much for the information about the Dublin concert. I see that Natasha Marsh is also performing so it should be a great show. Too bad I can't go! I'm moving to my new place this week and University starts on Tuesday so I definitely can't make it. Hello Stephany! There's a short video called "Will Martin Behind The Scenes" on Classic FM's Web Player. I've definitely seen it before, but I can't find any reference to it in this thread. You can watch the video on Media Player HERE. Edit: I've found it. This video is a slightly shorter version of the EPK video on Will's website. Love, Richard xxx
