Hi Peter, It's a bit of a Connie-day for me today I was planning on seeing Connie perform again today (right now as a matter of fact!) but Albany NY is a little too far. That's OK, beacause Connie's PBS special airs again today here in NE PA! lt is being advertised heavily on radio, the newspaper, and TV. I know Connie's mother (Sharon) is from the West Midlands. Dad Gavin's accent isn't as strong though! Another photo from last Saturday... Miss Constance Victoria Elizabeth Talbot

This evening, Connie Talbot performed at Ein Herz für Kinder (A Heart for Children) , a German telethon to raise money for sick children. Connie duetted with Sarah Conner on Ave Maria (Schubert). www.youtube.com/watch?v=qk3tXssYTVMSome photos and videos of Connie's appearance at this event last year are available here. Enjoy, Joe PS...the telethon raised over 13 million Euros.

Hi everyone Connie took part in a private charity event in St Paul's Church, (known as the 'actors' church) Covent Garden on the 16th of December. Connie's management and her parents very kindly invited me to attend as a guest and representative of Connie's Official Forum. The event was staged by the children's charity 'Rainbow Trust', who assist children and families who have to cope with life threatening or terminal illness. Connie and the other artists gave of their time to help raise much needed funds. Amongst the distinguished guest list were actor Geoffrey Palmer, Julian Fellowes and Joanna Lumley, who had invited Connie along. The service was just over an hour long and included many well known carols for the audience to sing along too, as well as readings performed by Joanna, Geoffrey & Julian. Connie sang 2 songs, the first, most appropriate for the event, 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' and the second, 'Ave Maria'. I think most of the audience were astounded at how mature sounding and professional Connie's voice sounds now, as I was with Connie afterwards when members of the audience kept coming across to congratulate her. I took some photos of Connie before she changed into her performance dress, upon which Joanna Lumley arrived and after introductions were made all round, asked Connie if they could have a photograph taken together. As I was the only one with a camera, I had the great honor of taking the photo And here they are again after the performance, Connie in her pure white long dressHere are a couple of other shots of Connie It was a wonderful evening and I believe, a good amount of money was raised for this very worthy charity. Connie was superb and Joanna, always one of my favourite actresses, is just such a lovely person to meet. Very best wishes Mark

Hi Mark Thanks for the news and photos, and I agree that Joanna Lumley is a very lovely and special lady. Connie gets bigger every time I see her. Looking at the photo of Connie in her blue dress with Joanna, she now seems almost as tall as her! Best wishes Martin

Hi Ross! I'm so glad you are enjoying Connie's DVD. It has shot to #1 on the DVD Sales this week in Hong Kong! My family and I were filmed many times. My Dad appears a lot! There is a close-up of my Mom near the end of "Over The Rainbow" . Yes, I do appear in "When A Child Is Born" Here is us in the audience in front, after "Mary's Boy Child" my twin brother John on the left, then me, and then my Dad! My parents and brother are also on the behind-the scenes, at timestamp 5:24 in the autograph queue. Mom is heard saying something about "my son"... I was taking photos at the time! Your family will really enjoy Connie's performance! God Bless and a very Merry Christmas to you! Joe

Ross, my grandparents enjoyed looking at my memory book from Connie's two appearances in the Scranton area. They insisted on watching the entire DVD during their visit yesterday. Cheers, Joe

Walsall Mayor's Gala Charity Concert Town Hall, Walsall Saturday 10th July 2010, 7.30pm.
Nine-year-old Connie Talbot, the Britain’s Got Talent 2007 finalist, will star in a gala charity concert in aid of Walsall Hospice.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Walsall, Councillor Gary and Mrs Yvonne Clarke, have adopted Walsall Hospice as their primary charity for their Mayoral year in office.
This musical extravaganza will feature Connie Talbot, the Birmingham Philharmonic Concert Band, the Choir of St Peter's Collegiate Church, Wolverhampton and will be compered by the well known Brummie comedian, author and playwright Malcolm Stent. The evening's repertoire will include a rich and inspiring combination of traditional prom classics such as Jerusalem, Pomp & Circumstance No 1, 633 Squadron and the Dambuster's March, together with favorites from both the Glen Miller and Vera Lynn collections. Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, £7 for children and as an incentive for families, friends and neighbours to join us, for every ten tickets purchased, one will be free.
So please come along with your family and friends, raise your voices to the rafters and wave your flags with gusto, in what promises to be a fun-filled entertaining evening, the proceeds of which will enable Walsall Hospice to move that much closer to achieving it’s target of £1.5 million.
You can book your tickets in a variety of ways--
Telephone: 0845 111 2900
In Person: Central Library, Lichfield Street, Walsall
By Post: Box Office, 6th Floor (West Wing), Tameway Tower, 48 Bridge Street, Walsall, WS1 1JZ.
