Hi B. I love this version of "Mary's Boy Child", made famous by a group called Boney M. The CD "Holiday Magic" is ranked #413 on the US Amazon.com best sellers list. Let's see it hit #1 when it's released October 13, this Tuesday! Connie was in Philadelphia last week on WCAU-TV...she talked about her involvement in the Toys for Tots charity. Later on, Connie performed 'Ave Maria'. www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMnIyHq2qSo Joe

Hi Joe
Thanks for posting up the interview here on HWI. Wow, Connie really has grown up over this past year, she had much more to say and was obviously very relaxed with the presenters. Fantastic song to finish too.
Best wishes Mark

i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif My CD has been sent by Amazon.com today. Might be at least 8 days before it gets to NZ. Mind you since the postage is more than the CD you think it would be quicker lol.

Don't worry about my tears lol as I am currently listening to Connies new Christmas CD Holiday Magic. Connie always makes me cry with her beautiful voice which has matured a lot since the last Christmas CD (which are mostly the same songs). So with this Cd and Hayleys new CD it already feels like Christmas i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif.

Hello Ross! Connie's CD is nowhere to be found, so had to I order 'Holiday Magic' from amazon.com. But I'll have it in two days' time! Some of Connie's upcoming events: 1. My public TV station WVIA will be first to air Connie's PBS special on November 7. This is mostly a test airing for other stations to gauge its viability for transmission during the Christmas season. 2. Connie will attend the Toys for Tots Kick-off Luncheon at Alexandria, Virginia on November 20. www.expressandstar.com/2009/10/24/obama-date-for-connie/As she is this year's national ambassador, and the day of her 9th birthday, and the possible attendance of President Obama...another milestone in Connie's career. 3. Then the day after that, November 21, Connie is scheduled to travel to Scranton PA and the Mall at Steamtown. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I live only 20 minutes away too i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif. Scranton has their Santa parade then, so not sure if Connie will be in the parade or not! It's a bit early yet to confirm anything but fingers crossed! Best wishes, Joe

Hi all, i21.photobucket.com/albums/b294/hdjoespics/reduced003steamtown.jpgConnie Talbot's performance at the Mall at Steamtown was amazing. I was so pleased that Connie was only 20 minutes away from my house! As well as about a dozen members from Connie's forum in attendance, it was nice to see someone from HWI there as well! It was none other than fusilier23. Good to see you again, Steven. It's been four years since we attended Hayley's concert in Easton, PA! Connie sang six songs from her just-released Holiday Magic CD. I was given the set list by the stage manager! The queue for autographs took place near Boscov's second-level mall entrance. It took nearly an hour to reach Connie but worth it. Connie's parents were lovely to talk to as always. Her manager and even her driver are nice. It seemed that they knew my name which I thought was great! Well done, Connie! Best wishes, Joe

Good music is just a matter of opinion, yours (The reader) and mine may differ.. but it is music none the less.. Boney M were dismissed by millions just because they were pop (Popular) music. but millions of others put their money where their mouth was and bought their records by the truckload. I think I have all their 7 inch singles....because they were pop...
