Connie was brilliant on America’s Got Talent: The Champions. She sang her original song “I Would”, and coupled with her amazing piano skills just left me speechless! I won’t reveal if she made it to the semifinals just yet! i

Here is the performance video from yesterday’s AGT: Champions episode...
I wish I could find a video that showed Connie’s introduction because it was beautiful.
Unfortunately she did not advance to the semi-finals.
This Champion series must have been recorded in October 2019, when Connie was still 18 as stated in her introduction (her birthday is a month later) plus Simon Cowell had his live shows of The X Factor: Celebrity from 26 October.

Unfortunately she did not advance to the semi-finals. Sorry to hear that Connie did not make it through. There is no real accounting for people's taste or the current mood of the judges. Public phone in voting depends on having a large group of very active followers. |

It doesn’t work the same way as in the regular season; the Champions seasons only have so-called “super fans” that supposedly represent the “50 states”. Sounds like an electoral college for reality TV. Lol then the judges make the last pick out of the lower finalists. Usually they make dumb choices. 🙄 for example, they chose a silly child comedian over an amazing Lindsay Stirling style violinist (probably because the boy violinist already made it), and last week, a girl and her dogs made it over a really good singer who actually won 10 years ago. I guess they’re trying to cater to the fans who always say they’re tired of singers, but a lot of people complain about dog acts too. A lot of them just complain in general. Lol the dogs were adorable and really well-trained, but the girl shouts the whole time, whereas Olate dogs and Ashleigh & Pudsey/Sully don’t say a word the whole time. It used to be the dogs were my favorite winners, but now my favorite is Kodi Lee. I figure they didn’t have him on, because they know he’ll win everytime. Lol |
