Yeah? Well, he's touring half an hour away from me! ... You should be able to hear him if you keep the windows open.

Hi guys! So I know I did promise some of you HWI folks on FB that I would write up a review on Josh's concert I attended. It should be up in a few days I've got to find the setlist online (which is a lot harder than I thought!) and I'd like to upload a few pics that I took, as well as uploading my audio and video recordings to my computer. I will tell you a few bits: The concert I attended, in Hershey, Pennsylvania (USA), was the 'last leg' of his "Straight to You Tour." And ironically Josh didn't sing Straight to You! Unfortunately, there were no concert programs to buy About the pre-concert performance: Elew--aka Eric Lewis--a jazz/pop/classical/rock/everything-but-the-kitchen-sink pianist performed before Josh came on stage. He is PHENOMENAL!! Check out this link! www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYYxuKtOEIEHe is so great! I even bought his album ELEW Rockjazz Vol. 1 I highly recommend him. The first song he played was Mr. Brightside by The Killers. I don't know if any of you know some of this music but I recommend it! Let's see, he also play Clocks by Coldplay, Sweet Home Alabama, Paint It Black by The Rolling Stones, Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana, The Diary of Jane by Breaking Benjamin. He also played a bit Erik Satie as well. He was so funny and talented! While playing Sweet Home Alabama he would every now and then lapse into The Peanuts Theme song and during Paint It Black he would lapse into The Nutcracker Suite! Elew is just so ridiculously talented on the piano. He played for about 40 minutes, give or take. All standing. He played the ENTIRE time standing! My 9 years of piano training didn't prepare me for that! lol Please support him! From what I gathered he's fairly underground for the most part...I'd love it if he got more renown! elewrockjazz.com/Hmmm, what else? My friend Dorie (on the right) actually invited me to go with her to the concert! My friend Dorie and I were about 15 yards away from the wonderful Josh Groban! More updates soon! devotedfanxxx

I'm glad you got to go! But that can't be right that it's the "last leg" of his tour already. I'm pretty sure it's the first, since he just started in May! And he's still coming to Seattle in August. And Europe later on. Do you mean, it's the end of the first "leg"? That would make more sense.

Maybe it was just the last leg on the east coast...?

Yes, he is, he just tweeted it tonight. This audition was probably months ago, so this may even be how they discovered him!

Ok so, forget about the set-list for the concert. I can't find one and I'm not the most patient person in the world! But he did sing a lot of his older works! Yay!! Interesting tidbit: The prelude on Illuminations, the Wandering Kind, Josh mentioned that he had orginally written that piece when he was 12!!! He also told the audience that one Hershey's chocolat bar has about 1200 calories. hahahaha ~Paige

I'm not worried about the set list, don't worry. I'd rather have it be a surprise! Less than 2 months to go, and then 2 days later, Paradiso will be out in the UK!! Hooray!

Hi all, I've just received this email about some charity work which Josh is doing and the American tour I thought you'd find it interesting... This makes me really wish I live in America- at least during July/November haha! best wishes Sing p.s. wohoo! that's the first time I've inserted a quote and it's actually worked- and I've managed to complete a spreadsheet with formulas and everything for my friend in 2 hours when it normally takes me 6-7 hours!!- computers must be beginning to like me, at least today haha!

Well done, Sing! I've just enlarged the text in the quote so us older members can read it more easily. Best wishes, Richard

Josh had a small role in the new movie "Crazy Stupid Love" and I can attest that his acting skills are quite good and maybe more impressive than his musical talent. He has excellent comic timing and is fully believable as the lawyer he plays. It wouldn't trouble me one bit if he pursued acting over other things from here on.
