Good grief, why does youtube exist if everything's illegal? Hi Libby, It's my understanding that YouTube subscribers are reminded about the Digital Millennium Copyright Act before each video is uploaded. As YouTube cannot view each item, this Act allows the copyright holder to file a claim in order to have the item deleted. YouTube has grown so quickly that many choose not to pursue these claims. BTW, did you happen to see Josh on the David Foster & Friends PBS special? Josh sang 'You Raise Me Up' and 'Bridge over Troubled Waters'? WOW Best wishes, Joe

Yes, I did.
So, how do I know what's legal and what's not on youtube? I didn't post those things knowing they were bad. How do I tell?

Hello Libby.
Generally speaking, where a video includes a complete recording of a track that is commercially available on a CD, DVD or download, it would be an infringement of copyright unless it was posted by the artist's own record company or management team. Links on the forum to offending videos will be removed by the moderators. If you're uncertain about a particular video, please don't post the link.

and are also posted on YouTube

Thanks for explaining. I will be more careful from now on. Don't worry, comet, I don't think Josh will notice what we say here.

Josh will be a presenter at the Grammy's, as well as a nominee. I hope that doesn't mean he won't win.

Hi Folks, I finally got my hands on a hard copy of Awake (No not the magazine).Josh's album I don't do downloads or Itunes, I'm just to old for that.I need a cd or an LPeeeeeeeee This is a great album and I must listen to it a few more times before I mention specific tracks but the overall effect of it was very pleasant after a rather stressful day. Libby, I think you might be fighting a losing battle here among all these MEN. We're just not genitically designed to appreciate the finer nuances of the attractive male voice

I'll pipe up in Libby's defense! Josh has a beautiful tone to his voice that causes a meltdown to all of my senses. I'm never one to swoon, but... you know...
Josh. <3

Josh was on Oprah this past Wednesday. The episode was about the all-time favorite "surprises" ever on the show, and one involving Josh was the first one they showed. He then surprised a young lady in the audience, which I think in the future will be another new favorite surprise! Watch all of it here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dFRAdyETOY I love every bit of it! It's all so cute.

I think that would be me if Josh Groban ever walked into the room! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I probably would have fainted when he started singing Awake! Definitely putting 'marry Josh Groban' on my 'To Do' List. LOL I WISH!

New site Nov. 9th. Most likely then we will find out about the new album. In one of his tweets he said something about "new tunes in December", but December seems like a weird time to release an album that's not a Christmas one. Maybe he just means we'll be able to hear some of the new songs then.

I actually did not hear much of Josh Grobans music. Only one song I got from my brother. I love his voice though. I just downloaded his song 'Awake' and I love it!
Any suggestions for some other songs?
Sharon
