Hidden Away was one of my favorites from Illuminations, in fact the first song that I heard from it, and I was very disappointed when he didn't sing on the tour! He sang all the other good ones like Higher Window, but not that. I'm still not over it. LOL jk sort of.

I hope he performs Hidden Away in December, I love that song too. I think it's my favourite from Illuminations. Mind you if he sang all my favourites the concert would be much much longer than it's likely to be LOL.

Even at the Stages concert I got to see, wasn't technically part of his original Stages tour, so I think he might have done more older stuff than he did on his "other" Stages tour, but I'm not sure. I still hope he puts "Run" by Snow Patrol on his new album. I loved it. Also, I had wondered where I'd heard the song before; I didn't think I'd heard the version by Snow Patrol, but just recently I recalled that I have heard (I'm pretty sure) a version by Leona Lewis. Set to a figure skating montage video on youtube, no less. LOL And the only reason I thought of it was because I was thinking about skating and randomly thought of montage videos, and thought, Wait, that's where I'd heard it. I do remember that the song was called Run, and so now I know. LOL

Very glad to see Josh on TV co-hosting tonight's Tony awards. He has performed a few songs with his co-host Sarah Bareilles.

Yes, but I am just trying to be considerate since I know a few people are probably going to his show and I didn't want to spoil the surprises if they were against it. I guess I will just put in big, bold letters at the top "Spoiler Alert" on my post when the time comes. So if people don't want to see the setlist, etc they can skip my post.

I was surprised he didn't sing Straight to You on the Illuminations tour. They did an instrumental of it, but the words are so moving on that song...one of the highlights on the album in my humble opinion.

Yes, I LOOOOVVEEE that song. I loved it so much I made my own youtube video set to scenes from Once Upon a Time, centered on Snow White and Charming in the Enchanted Forest, of course. I can't post it here, of course, and anyway, I mostly made it for my own enjoyment. I was proud of myself for making it. LOL

Well, I predicted the album title! I can't say I could ever have predicted the album cover, that's a lot different than all his old ones, but it's cool. I hope Bridge OTW is on it!

And, it comes out 2 days after my birthday!

So, we've got Josh and Sarah's albums in September, and Andrea's in October (26th). Now, when's Hayley's? How about Sept. 19th? LOL No, I'm not holding my breath. Maybe Sept. 19, 2019?

Josh has posted several exciting posts yesterday and today! I was on Sm using my new phone yesterday (and my phone was the only reason I was online anywhere), but didn't log in here at all. Anyway, I haven't figured out how to copy and paste using my finger (is there a way?), so aside from lack of time, I just didn't know how. ANYway...

LOVE the cover! With all the color...really makes it pop! And stands out among the blue, black, natural colors of his previous album covers.

Yes, we have Josh's and Sarah's albums in September. You can keep Andrea, not my cup of tea. But, I also have Slash releasing an album on Sept. 21st as well. And Celine is suppose to be releasing an album some time this year.



Does that not get you pumped?! I'm going to have a tough time figuring which album goes in the player first on September 21st.

Last thing, the new song Josh released is a Celine song from her french career. Comes from her album of the same name released in 1998. A huge hit for her in the late 1990s. Anyways, here is her singing the song in 2008 with subtitles and English translation of the lyrics.


PSS. There was a comment on Josh's facebook page when he announced about the Target edition (which I will get too Libby!) that is the same as the deluxe edition on his official website that they are selling. For all you international fans.

Well, I only have one album by Andrea, so while I personally really enjoy his voice singing the CC favorites as well as opera songs, I don't listen to his music all that often. I don't know if I'll buy his new album or not. I might, and I did think a few members might be interested in the release date of his new album, if not all. For what it's worth, Celine isn't one I listen to all the time, either, though of course I know most of her hits, because she's mainstream pop.

No the artist is not someone we have been talking about...yet...on this thread. But while you are looking forward to Andrea's album, I am looking forward to Slash's upcoming album (the video I shared is an album teaser for HIS upcoming album). And as luck would have it, Slash's album AND Josh's album are being released on the same day! Hence why I shared that video.

Yay to Libby for predicting that BOTW would or should be on this album. Wonder if it is a new recording especially for this record. Also, Taylor and a few others were wanting the Sarah McLachlan duet on the record. Well, that wish is also come true. This album just strikes me to be like Sarah's Timeless or Symphony albums in the sense you have ALL these duets. I feel you almost need the deluxe album so you don't feel like it's a variety album and you get enough Josh for the next 2/3 years.

Wonder if "River" is a Joni Mitchell cover. Also, "Bigger Than Us" could be another inspirational song, and "You Have No Idea" title makes me think it will be a fun, upbeat, and light song too. But we will see....
