I love his version of Pure Imagination too, I wasn't very familiar with the song I must admit but he sings it so well. I also can't wait to hear the song If I Can't Love Her, it's one of my favourite songs- so I will have to get the deluxe edition somehow .

My sister can't stand the song for some reason. I admit I'm not familiar with a lot of the other songs on there.

You can listen to the full Deluxe edition of Stages on Amazon, here: Stream the New Album NowHowever, I still recommend purchasing the version from Target, since it has 2 extra songs that even the Deluxe version doesn't have. Also, it may be available in store, so you may not have to pre-order it. I'm planning to go directly to Target and buy it instead of pre-ordering it.

I have this album now and think it is great I love Josh's version of Children Will Listen and Not While I'm Around, You'll never walk alone is another standout track and I also love Try to Remember, which i had never heard before, but this is one of my favourites. I do not like the duet with Kelly Clarkson, while she has a great voice she is not right for this song or role and it does not go well with the way Josh sings and she sings it more like a pop song. Overall this is another great album from Josh I think.

Wait, how do you have the album already? I never saw a release date for the Uk; was it earlier? Do you have the Deluxe version with Empty Chairs and Empty Tables? His version is just wonderful, but I can't help but say I slightly prefer the way Mario sings it just a little bit, though Josh's voice sounds incredible. Bring Him Home is absolutely beautiful. I definitely like his voice better than Alfie's, but I had gotten used to Alfie's, and I really did enjoy that, too. I had even considered downloading it, but now I won't need to. Pure Imagination, as I said above, is pure perfection. You'll Never Walk Alone is impeccable. And I do not share your dislike of the duet. I think it sounds great. Maybe not the best I've ever heard (well, Josh is the best), but I thought it was still good. It's been getting good reviews so far. Over the Rainbow was nice, too, but I did like Hayley's version in concert a little better. My review is just based on the one listen of the full album the other night.

The release date was Monday 20th over here and Josh has been on TV doing promo stuff too which is good to see, I think Stages was number one in the midweek album charts (pop) over here, I hope it stays there for tomorrow.
I do have the deluxe version and also love his Empty Chairs At Empty Tables. I think my dislike of the duet is just personal preference as Phantom is more operatic than most musicls and I prefer a more operatic vocal like Sierra Boggess for example. I do like his over the rainbow, it's not one of my favourites, but then the song is not one of my favourites in general.

Now Libby, you know that I wouldn't tease you or pull your leg just a little bit.. It would now seem you like Empty Chairs and Empty Tables and Bring him Home, Do ya not think it is about time you watched Les Miserables for the context Libby if ye get me drift, I would recommend the recent movie version, watch it once Libby, you might just like it.

I don't like the music from that movie, sorry. That one song is too noisy, and it sounds like IDAD, but it isn't, which is weird to me. A US ice dance pair skated to that soundtrack last season, and I wasn't crazy about it. Even the commentators found it to be much too noisy, so it's not just me. However, when Jeremy Abbott skated to the version by Alfie Boe, that's when I enjoyed it. Not when the actor in the movie did. The singers are extremely mediocre, and you notice I like the songs by "real", exceptional singers. If you can find me a production of it with really good singers, I might try it. Maybe I'll have to try a theater production of it sometime, though at the moment, I'm more interested in going to see the Phantom of the Opera. Now, that story interests me; the other one sounds... well, miserable. Sorry. LOL Now, I've said all this before, and this is not the right thread for this, so let this be the end of it. Thank you.

You ought to give the film a watch Libby. I didn't think I liked Les Mis but I changed my mind. The film is superb. A tale of a low life criminal who was turned into a good person. And as someone who once lived in Paris, and knows something of the history of that city, having visited some of its many museums, I find it very powerful and moving. Nowadays one of my favourite musicals, along with West Side Story and The Sound of Music.

Wow, I'm glad it's doing well in the UK! I hope it'll do really well here, too. I can't imagine that it wouldn't. And I'm glad he's added some more tour dates. Hopefully that means eventually they'll add Seattle. It's the logical next location after the CA dates, except maybe Portland, OR would make sense first, and then Seattle. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif
