Hi folks,
I was just wondering about the possibility of making sub-boards under this one.
They would be for individual performers/groups of suitable type - forget rock, rap, garage, jazz etc.
Discussion about them could take place on the respective boards then. And all posts on the subject of that performer would be in one place. Webmasters of sites for any of these performers could also make announcements there about their site and the artist concerned.
We could have boards for people like Holly, Yulia, Katherine, Taylor, The Cottars etc.
Thoughts folks?
Keith.
p.s. I've already made a list of 9 sub-boards that could be in here.

Well done Keith. I was just wondering how long it would take you to think of that one! LOL Might I be so bold as to sugest sub-board number 10 (unless she is one of the first 9 of course)?..... Janine Jansen. I've already got the first post ready. Seriously, brilliant idea. I love it. Roger

You got it. Who's Janine Jansen? Is that David Jansen's sister? Cheers, Keith.

OK Janine Jansen has won the Dutch Edison awards (popular vote) two years running.
The Dutch Edisons are comparable to the Classical Brits. Get this board ready and I'll post some links to Janine's performances.
Janine is quite as good as Nicola Benedetti, and I do have a few clips available.
Thanks.
Gerrit

Hi Gerrit, That sounds great. And you could have another clip before the month is over. Roger

David Jansen played Doctor Richard Kimble in the original "The Fugitive" series.
Cheers, Keith.

Ok, At my classicalrelatedperformances site I will set up a page for Janine within the next two days. Who knows... someone may start Janine-Jansen-International. . Actually, I have been thinking about that. Still, I think the violin isn't quite as popular as the human voice ... Gerrit

There will be a Katherine Jenkins board sometime tomorrow. Along with five others.
I don't know this Keedie, so would need to know something more about him/her.

Keedie is the girl I have mentioned to you in the past, Keith. She is a crossover singer, born in Wolverhampton, now living in Devon, aged 23. Her first CD, 'I Believe My Heart', was released in 2004 and opens with an incredible version of the Bach/Gounod 'Ave Maria', sung in English, as Hayley does on the DVD. Her classical soprano voice is sensational and strong but she can also sing pop better than most of today's pop singers. It is a super album which I rate as highly as Yulia's and, believe me, that's high! The only occasion that I have seen Keedie live was during the Classic Response concert at the Albert Hall in March. Although it was a predominantly "pure" classical audience, Keedie went down a storm. She is supposed to be supporting Aled Jones during his next UK tour. Our friends Andy and Nicola run a nice little fansite for her here: www.keedieonline.com/I thoroughly support Kimberly's request for a sub-board. Roger

Just a suggestion, Keith. How would you feel about a sub-board for my old mates, The Seekers?
