Thanks for the news, Chris. Not that it is news to us! Your post prompted me to look at the RAH website again and the event has now been removed from their September schedule.
I note that no reason has been given. No surprised there, then! I think we can now assume that the information given to us on 3rd July by Steve Abbott was correct.
I booked by phone to the RAH box office. Presumably, they will be contacting me by post before long.

I don't intend to check all venues but the St David's Hall, Cardiff website now says this: Celtic Woman - CANCELLED
Due to unforseen circumstances this concert has been cancelledSo that's that, then! Roger

All though it's a terrible shame for all that want ' to go to the concerts. They may listen to what you say in the future Roger To use a quote for CW from a very wise woman They know more about what i'm doing than i do Belinda

Just for the record, I believe that 13 of our members had booked a total of 23 tickets for the Royal Albert Hall concert. Whoever is responsible for authorising the refunds is going to be busy!

Thanks for the confirmation Chris/Roger. The cancellation must have been actioned this afternoon as the Albert Hall still had the event advertised at lunchtime today.
I booked online so I should expect an email once the box office decide on the refund arrangements. However, I suspect the booking fee will not be refunded.
Oh well, c'est la vie as Stephany might say! We were all expecting it but nevertheless is still disappointing. My sympathy is particularly with those who had also made travel arrangements.

Hi Roger and All,
Just to confirm that I have also heard from See Tickets regarding the RAH cancellation. I was looking forward to the gathering in view of the fact that I will not be able to make Shepherds Bush.

Gordon Hi Gordon I've not had any confirmation of cancellation yet - I think I booked through Ticketmaster and no one's mentioned them yet! Anyway, I've got accommodation booked out at Wembley so I will still come down. Maybe go to a show in town unless anyone has any other suggestions! Hayley, how about a night on the town with HWI? Promise we'll look after you! Best wishes Grant

Didn't think it'd go this far, but already posts are popping up over at CWF.com about this one's friend or that one's brother who knew in July, but couldn't talk out of turn. However, they are firm that it is not because CW are breaking up, it is not because of Hayley, and nobody is preggers. The fact is the tix just didn't sell well enough to justify going ahead with the tour, and I'd be surprised if Hayley's non-presence didn't affect that. It's not like it was a state secret or something.
Eh, maybe the gals can come over here, I know the NJPAC has some open dates next month.

Remember folks, you first heard about the cancellation of the UK tour here at HWI, and Steve Abbott was right all along. I have a ticket for the Royal Albert Hall, so I'll go to the box office during the next few days to claim my refund. Richard

According to CelticWoman.com, the only International Tour Dates are those scheduled for Japan in November and December. I think we can take it that the whole of the UK and European tour is now officially cancelled. Roger

UK & European Tour Postponed
Due to unforeseen circumstances Celtic Woman have had to postpone their upcoming September UK tour. Tickets for the UK shows will be refunded at point of purchase.
Celtic Woman unfortunately have also had to postpone the European tour which is being rescheduled for January next year. Dates will be announced shortly. Tickets for the European dates will be valid for the rescheduled shows, or can be refunded at the point of purchase www.celticwoman.com/viewSection.asp?idSection=203Unforeseen?

Hi everyone,
I'm really sad to hear about the cancellation. It's not very surprising but it comes as a 'relief' to finally hear news about the UK/European tour from the Celtic Woman management.
I had a ticket for the RAH and two tickets for the Manchester show so I'll probably need to contact the box office to ask for a refund. I booked my tickets online so I suppose the booking fee is lost.
On the CW official site, they say that the tour is 'postponed' and not 'cancelled' but I doubt the girls will ever come to the UK anyway. I asume the January dates are only for the other countries?
Stephany
