European Tour - Sept/Oct 2007

Hi everyone,
There will be a CW tour in September/October 2007 in the UK and several other European countries.
I don't know for sure if Hayley is in or not so I posted this message in the "Celtic Woman WITHOUT Hayley" category.
That would make sense if Meav was with the group in September/October and then Hayley replaces her in November/December for the rest of the tour.

Celtic Woman tour of the United States and Canada ends in June.

In September / October they will be starting a tour of the United Kingdom and several countries on Continental Europe. I list hereunder the provisional dates for the UK leg of their tour but plans have not yet been finalised for Europe so I am not yet in a position to say if they will be performing in Paris.The European Tour venues and booking details will be put on the Celtic Woman web site in due course. Here are the provisional UK dates:

CELTIC WOMAN – SEPTEMBER 2007

Monday 17 September Liverpool Philharmonic Hall

Tuesday 18 September Llandudno Venue Cymru Theatre

Wednesday 19 September Gateshead Sage

Thursday 20 September **DAY OFF

Friday 21 September Glasgow Royal Concert Hall

Saturday 22 September Manchester Bridgewater Hall

Monday 24 September **DAY OFF

Tuesday 25 September Cambridge Corn Exchange

Wednesday 26 September Cardiff St Davids Hall

Thursday 27 September **DAY OFF

Friday 28 September Bournemouth Intl Centre Pavilion

Saturday 29 September London Royal Albert Hall

In November / December they will be visiting Japan, Australia & New Zealand. In January 2008 they will be in South Africa and then in February 2008 they will be returning to the United States and Canada for a further tour."

Stephany will be in the audience on September 22.

It would be just our luck for Hayley NOT to be with CW for this part of the tour I hope we can get some details of participants before it's too late to book good seats.

WOW! They are SO busy. They'd better get some good breaks in there. I think among this they're working on Solo CD's, but I'm not sure. My goodness...how insanely busy they are.

That would be really fantastic!
But I don't think Hayley will be joining this part of the tour because she is also due to appear at the Rugby World Cup !!
It could be possible given that France is not that far but I don't really see this happening.

Here is her September "Rugby schedule" as a reminder.
If you compare it to the CW European tour, you can see that it will probably be very difficult for Hayley to attend both.

Thanks very much for the CW tour details. Your conclusions about Hayley not being involved because of her World Cup appearances are probably correct but I will try to get absolute confirmation. Even if she isn't there, I might try to catch CW at the Royal Albert Hall... provided I'm allowed out that night, of course!

Yes, you have my permission providing you are home by midnight.

Regarding whether or not Hayley will appear at the Albert Hall on 29th Sept in view of her probable appearance in St.Etienne earlier that day then it is unlikely as this city is just too far away to get to London in time for an evening concert.

I believe Hayley prefers to use 'Eurostar', although doesn't she generally have a sing song with the team after the match? We can't deprive her of a bit of relaxation now, can we?

Sorry, I changed my post as I misread the venue as Paris. It is in fact in St.Etienne which is some considerable way south east of Paris.

There is an airport in Saint-Etienne but I seriously doubt Hayley would take the risk to miss a concert.
Besides, she has to remain available for additionnal matches if New Zealand goes further in the competition.
I'm sure they will, so why sign a contract with CW for a September tour if she dearly wants to support the All Blacks team the same month ?

Bedlam Management have advised that they are looking at the possibility of Hayley being included in this tour but it is undecided at this time. I will advise of any further information in due course.
