I apologize for spelling errors in my last post. I was at work and writing it between customers. I was getting ready to close and never reviewed it. I hope I did not offend anyone, especially Hayley. I am at work today also and am having a Hayley music festival since it is not busy and I am alone, I plan to play all of her albums. Hello John! You can always edit your own posts after posting by clicking on "modify" in the top right-hand corner of the post. I hope you enjoyed your Hayley music festival! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes from London, Richard

Moved from Market Place - Where To Buy. Hi Richard.
I bought mine this morning at Virgin Watford.
I had intended to buy last week but didn't make it and I'm not sure at all of us pushing for the first week is wise, although can our numbers really make that difference across the weeks? I felt that I would be helping to 'hold the fort' after the first onslaught by buying later.
First impressions are: I love all the pictures of Hayley.
We now see the previously released 'rushes' in context. I love the amber/gold effect. I think the whole is very well designed and impressive. In fact, cover designwise i prefer the special or UK edition to the original sea release pictures, partly, I think, because i gained the impression from first sighting that she looked cold during that shoot as I later found out was the case. Hayley is warm and perhaps the blue does not help anyway.
That raises a query. What colour are her eyes? I really must look at her more closely next time I have the chance to say 'Hi!' Do they change with the light? Are they green/blue or are they blue? They seem to vary from picture to picture.
Any way, from a promotional view point this is a superb presentation .
Was it you or someone else who commented that the front pic was one of Jill's. By implication also the back? Both are gorgeous pictures of her and I love the others too.
Peter

Hello Peter! The photographs on the new UK edition were taken by Lorenzo Agius, while those on the original version were taken by Kevin Westenberg. I remember reading somewhere that Jill took the cover photograph for Hayley's 'Wuthering Heights' single, which was never released in the UK. I've seen Hayley at close range in bright sunlight, when Roger took my avatar picture, and I can tell you that her eyes are exactly the same colour as Sophie's. So now you know! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

You answer my question about the colour of Hayley's eyes so succinctly--fortunately I downloaded that super picture of Sophie, to which Belinda directed us some while back, I think on the msn site. Thank you, Peter

Hi Richard I met Hayley's mum at St Johns Smith Square and she chatted for ages about her photography. It is a big hobby and she took the picture of Steven, Hayley and I (Below) In the early days she did all the photography for Hayley. She did take the photo of the Wuthering Heights single. Recently, Jill took all the photos of Sophie's trip to Ghana. www.unicef.org.nz/media/news/news1123192586.htmlStuart

Yes, Jill is very keen on photography and frequently holds her own in comparison with the professional photographers Decca employ. Especially when you bear in mind that much of Jill's photography is based on 'grabbing the moment' whereas the professionals have Hayley booked 'under their stage management' for as long as they need.
I remember chatting with Jill about the photographs of hers that were then so often used for Hayley's promotions. I commented that she achieved that quality that you could see in the photographs shot by Snowdon of the Royals.
Was it the family relationship as Snowdon had with the Royals or just the sheer professionalism of the photographer, which perhaps may come down to the fact the photographer's relationship with the sitter can be achieved by professional technique, like any artist with their audience, or was is familial comfortableness?
Certainly some of the best early photographs of Hayley were those taken by her mother where she manages to bring out real sense of 'knowing' Hayley in those photographs. Bringing out something of the personality of the girl, they are not just photographs of her in the 'usual' sense of a photogrtaph..They are statements of personality and character.

Hi All, It would appear that perhaps the cheapest version of 'Odyssey' you will find in a record shop (apart from those marketing through online auctions) will be in Jersey- namely, Tesco, Jersey. Have a look here. I would imagine that the price reflects the fact that the purchase is tax free in Jersey! Regards, Andrew

Hi Andrew,
Although I sadly never got the opportunity to meet Keith, After his untimely departure from this world, I had taken the time to go back and read many of his posts, this gave me a great insight into 'The Man' and his true dedication to HWI and many other projects he tirelessly pursued.
I think of Kieth whenever I hear 'Wishing you were somehow hear again' on the HW CD, I remember reading in Hayley's book that Jill told Hayley to think about how you would feel if she lost somebody close to get the mood right when singing this song.
Thanks for the post. I think that Keith is in a better place now, don't you?
Steve.

is that the whole booklet? I'd love to see all the scans, as the problem with digital downloading is no booklet (frown) and I'll probably get this album
