HI all, today I received 2 copies of "Odyssey"-U.K.-version. It's the best she ever made. ! Hayley is singing "O Mio Babino Caro" like an angel. Kind regards, Lothar

Finally, we have a UK version of the Odyssey e-card. After Raymond's post about the US version, I found this: www.hyperlaunch.com/hayleywestenra/uk/ but I haven't seen any links to it from other sites as yet. Better late than never, I guess. Dave

I love My Heart Belongs To You, it's a gorge song! I first heard it when Ronan Tynan had it on one of his albums and I love Hayley's version! She does a lovely version of May It Be aswell, she should do more Enya type songs, they really suit her!! I was surprised to see O Mio Babbino Caro on the tracklisting, as she doesn't have the typical voice for that song but once I listened to it I really liked it! It's nice to have a pure version of it for a change! But I'm worried that she might get some stick from critics for choosing that song? I hope she doesn't, I really loved it!!

Hi Claire, You raise an interesting point about Hayley choosing to sing 'O Mio'. As I'm sure you know, there have been a few occasional adverse comments from other artists concerning crossover singers performing classical material but, to my knowledge, these have not been directed specifically at Hayley. Of course there are some purists in this world who would not approve but, at the same time, there are many people who only ever listened to more contemporary styles who are now attracted to the classical repertoire because of people like Hayley. I am greatful that everyone has the choice. And, just in case there is any doubt, I choose Hayley! Roger

Lol! I choose her aswell, I think her version is like a breath of fresh air in a world full of heavy versions of O Mio!

Hmmm, I'll have to take a listen I might actually need two versions of this album. If Holly Holyoake can sing this song at 14 and do it justice, and I believe she did when I heard it live, then Hayley certainly can sing it now.
I agree, a lot of the classical versions get waaay too heavy. If I want Brunnhilde I know where to find that music, thank you.

Hayley's version is certainly very different to Holly's but there is room for them both in my CD collection! Roger
