Very interesting tracklisting.I wondor if she re-recorded Mists Of Islay but I think she did .I do not understand why they got rid of I say grace and My Heart Belongs To You (which to me is by far the best pop song on the album) they should of got rid of Both Sides Now and What You Never Know (Won't Hurt You) or Dell' Amore Non Si Sa but that was never going to happen.

She returned to the recording studio in London for that purpose on Monday 11 July - a matter of hours after several of us had seen her at the Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre the night before. Roger

Hi Stephanie, I absolutely agree with you that they should never have dropped 'My Heart Belongs To You'. It is one of the best tracks on the album. Personally I don't mourne the loss of 'I Say Grace' and if anything had to go, I am fairly happy for it to have been that one. Hopefully everyone here will get every track by ordering as many versions as necessary. After all, we are Hayley's greatest fans in the world, aren't we? Roger

I think she is to into charts and that is not always a good thing and the best song sould of not been thanking off of it and I do not know if Mists Of Islay would be called classical if it is that would not be fair as it is not classical and how could you say it is classical It is a very nice song but not classical and I think it was put on the UK as it can be very apealing to the people in the UK and it is good that she moves though the fair is still on it as that I think that is also a song that is apealing to the people in the UK and it not just about if something would be on the UK classical chart or not I think it is also about what you think would be apealing to people of a place.
I think the oder of the cd could of been put better. But that is me.

I am delighted that "The Mists Of Islay" is on it. I have been hoping for a long time that Hayley would re-record this one, as I feel it is a gorgeous song. Now, all we need to know is, has she ever been there?
Keith.

I kind of agree with you Kimberly, and I think if it doesn't get in the classical chart it's not the end of the World. It will still get some Classic FM airplay (just not as much) as there is more classical content on it than Pure. But if it doesn't, they have no excuse for dropping "My Heart Belongs To You" which is one of the best songs on the album. I too like "Mists of Islay".

I think the oder of the cd could of been put better. But that is me. Actually Kimberly, you have a good point there. They seem to have taken off one "non-classical" song and replaced it with another. As Keith says. 'The Mists of Islay' is a lovely song but I feel 'My Heart Belongs To You' has a greater commercial appeal. As for the order, what was the point of reversing tracks numbers 2 and 3? Anyone? Roger

Roger Hehe, Roger, when I asked you a while back if Hayley was recording two new tracks that week, as I thought, you said you couldn't remember! However, I understood that the specific purpose of that recording session was to record new classical material for the UK version! So, unless they got it badly wrong, Mists of Islay may be acceptable as a "classical" track (though not actually classical - like Pokarekare Ana and Hine e Hine).

Ah, but Dave, you forget one thing. When you asked me that question, I had very recently seen Hayley which, as you know, is an experience which plays tricks on ones emotional and mental stability. Now the old grey cells have sorted themselves out a bit, details are coming back to me! Phew. That's got out of that! Roger

Maybe Decca waved the largely unclassical "Pure" at the Committee! Hopefully, some of us will find out what happened directly from Hayley or Steve, in Manchester exactly two weeks from today But I nearly forgot, I think this UK version is good value for money at the current Amazon UK price. Sixteen tracks (OK fifteen if you exclude Bridal Ballad which many of us already have) for £9.99 is very good and far better value than "Pure" when it was first released ( I think it was a year before you could buy it at that price in the UK). I think I'll enjoy all the extra classical stuff and my one regret is the omission of My Heart Belongs To You Oh well.... but hey, I've already got that one on my Australian version! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Oh No , What have they done, i think its a major mistake not including "My Heart Belongs To You," on the UK version, time will tell ,it would make a great single, but singles are usually on the album as well, not everyone in the UK is going to get the NZ/Australian version and will miss out." My Heart Belongs To You " would have been great sung live and would have taken over from Wuthering heights, Lets Hope Hayley sings it on the NZ tour, and will see then how well its received. and put it on the UK Re release.
