Hi sonata58, Just wanted to make sure - are we free do download the pictures and videos to our own computers? I don't want to infringe on anyone's copyrights. Those pictures of Hayley at the piano are really special - I may need to change my avatar. Yes, you are more than welcome to download all photographs and videos to your computer for your own use and for family and friends to enjoy them. We would ask though that members refrain from adding any material from HWI to other websites without asking for the original photographer/videographer's approval. You may do that by sending them a PM. Thank you for asking. Roger

Hi everyone I´m stuck in the south of Spain at the moment - 26 degrees and blazing sunshine (it´s a hard job but someone´s got to do it ). I´m so pleased to hear that Hayley´s continuing on from her Buxton performance and getting better and better. The photos once again are fantastic - thanks to everyone who´s posted them. Please say the video clips will still be available when I´m back next week. Kind regards Colin

Colin, the video clips should still be available next week but I would prefer it if you would play them in front of a large Spanish audience this week. Then perhaps we could start seeing some concerts on the costas.

That's my favorite singer on my favorite instrument.

Graeme, ........Perhaps your own experiences in NZ were similar....... Martin Hi Martin. There was no "Perhaps" in it. She was sound perfection personified. Doesn't matter what way I try to think of to describe her singing in words, it's just not enough. I was gasping as she sang....Dave Dobbyn was clearly Hayleywowed too. The standing ovations were unforced. The word awesome gets closer but still doesn't describe her adequately....sigh... Graeme Yes, at Buxton I was one of those who stood up. Not enough people did, and I was disappointed, she absolutely deserved it..Why are so many audiences so reserved in England. Seeing her years ago in Northhampton was the same. I would absolutely guarantee, that if she ever came to sing at my local De Montfort Hall, she would be properly appreciated. DMH is famous for its warm appreciation of exceptional artists. Hayley would need at least five encores. She would be lucky to get off the stage before midnight! Martin

Hi Sonata58, Paddy is very surprised that you chose that photo (Quality not good - even for me). The very best 'Sonny' photos I've seen in this thread were taken by Photo Maestro+++ Karsten: 'Hope you like them too. Best regards, Paddy

I think it's very interesting the way it turned out. It looks like she's turning into an angel. I've got a few like that. I regarded them as failures! It isn't hard to believe she is an angel.. She sings like one, and on the one occasion when I believe I met an angel, she sounded just like Hayley. Martin Martin

Hi Sonata58, My personal favourite 'Sonny' picture (in the Buxton thread) is this one: Thanks Karsten! It was a fantastic present (just two weeks after my Birthday), as I now have a special copy - signed in Derry. In Belfast, I was hoping to have 'Princess Hayley' signed on it (or on my Belfast poster), but the lady smiled for me instead. Paddy

I’m sorry that I haven’t been able to post sooner, but I just got home to Colorado, USA. Jeanne and me with Hayley As all the HWI members that I met know, this was my first Hayley concert and I was completely Hayleywowed as most first timers are. Hayley was wonderful and was everything I had hoped for. I feel very lucky to get the opportunity to meet Hayley and again she was amazing. She is so warm and friendly you would think that I was an old friend. I want to thank everyone that I met for such a wonderful welcome. Jeanne and I just had a great experience thanks to everyone we met. Jeanne was not a fan before this concert, but she is now and we have already purchased tickets for the Dublin concert in September. Jeanne was able to get one of the large promotional posters for us too. We picked it up on Monday. Some of the concert staff were very kind to us. We also had a great time visiting Belfast. Again the people were so nice and friendly. I hope to see some of you in Dublin, and hopefuly meet more HWI members, Bob Abrew

Hi Folks, Here is a little insight as to how Hayley views her earlier career. As Hayley signed this CD insert from the Album Hayley Westenra 2001 She said something like " Oh look ..! Baby Hayley " and laughed
