This is exactly what happened last year with the The Anthony Nolan Trust Dunkeld Event, so I do feel for Hayley and her fans when things like this happen at so short notice.

Just noticed something, your post (reply 1, Grant) indicates there has been a change in the way posts are numbered?
You raise a point I had forgotten. They organised it on the basis of tables not seats or at least not in teh best seats available. Indicating it was an 'exclusive' event. Another strategy error.
Again too, money calculations were made separated from audience size calculations. Bad marketing assessment. Wrong audience type, perhaps. Peter S.

Just noticed something, your post (reply 1, Grant) indicates there has been a change in the way posts are numbered? Only when you use the search engine, Peter! I suppose we should wait for confirmation from Bedlam Management before removing the dates from Hayley's Concert Schedule. Richard

I suppose we should wait for confirmation from Bedlam Management before removing the dates from Hayley's Concert Schedule. I suppose the organisers have told Bedlam!? Maybe worth a quick Email to Steve A. if we don't hear something soon perhaps Roger? Best wishes Grant

Nobody's told Red Orbit yet. I won't bother to post a transcript of that article. Peter, when you view the last 50 posts, the search engine now numbers the results from one to fifty. You must refer to the individual threads to find the reply numbers. Richard

But Richard, we shall be missing favourites from Hayley's fourth album!

Looks like the credit crunch is biting. £100 is a lot to pay especially when other concerts are available at a quarter of the cost. With rising bills, people have less disposable income, even for Hayley.

Hello Drew and everybody! It looks as though somebody has now told Red Orbit, because the article I didn't post is no longer available. Richard

Jeff,
It's really bad when you have to pay in U S dollars.

With rising bills, people have less disposable income, even for Hayley. If I remember correctly £100 was for the tables directly in front of the stage . I think it was £20 or £25 for a seat in the stands that were positioned on either side of the stage. Graham

Thank you for that Roger.
As I've already posted, the cancellation of this event is a great shame. particularly for the 4000 people who have purchased tickets and for the performers, many of whom have been working on their contribution for some considerable time.
Although Hayley and Alfie probably won't have had to put in the same level of effort, I can understand their disappointment at the cancellation, and feel very sorry for them both at this time.
Best wishes Grant
