Hi Martin, Thank you very much for coming back down to earth from "cloud 9" after being "Hayley wowed" (I know only too well how that feels!) and sharing your concert report with us - I really enjoyed it! Incidentally, well done for avoiding the temptation for going "Bambi spotting" in the nearby safari park... You were definitely in the right place Martin! Thanks again... Andrew

Hi Caite Many thanks for the excellent description of Hayley's WSS dress. As far as I was concerned it used to be just a 'loveley green dress' - I now consider myself enlightened! I love the term 'rick rack' by the way. Who dreamed that one up! Best wishes Grant Hi Grant, Thanks....and here's your answer! crochet.about.com/library/weekly/aa082600.htm<3 Caite

To Hayley and me, this is Bambi.
To everyone else, this is fresh venison.
(Captured at Woburn this afternoon during light rain.) Hi Drew, Quite brilliant - I enjoyed that! As much as I enjoy 'Cavatina' I'm not a deerhunter either! Andrew i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

I am sorry to hear that you didn't get to hear 'I feel pretty'. It must be very difficult to perform it live though. Hi Stephany Elaine Page must have read my report because she played it on her "Songs from the Musicals" radio 2 Programme at lunch time today. Thank you everyone for your kind comments. Martin

Hi Stuart & Dave Thanks for the wonderful photos - they captured the evening perfectly (except the rain!). Stuart - I hope you sent Grant a PM before posting the red dress warning him to sit down first. Martin

Great picture, Stuart. Just a question - what did Hayley sing with Paul Potts? Someone probably said it earlier but I didn't catch the name of the song. Thanks a lot! I really like Mr Potts so I'm sure they did a fabulous duet.

Hi Grant, Thanks for your comments. Many more photos to come but posting is interspersed with bouts of activity here - builders arrive tomorrow for complete gut and refit of the kitchen Dave was lucky to catch that engaging look betwen Vittorio and Hayley. My impression is that she was a little bit uncomfortable with the eye-to-eye contact and the physical contact. This is evident in these two pictures, dont you think? Stuart I agree with you entirely Stuart and felt like posting a similar comment but my angle was rather acute and was the 'wrong way round' to risk saying so. Your position was more front on and you could therefore interpret better. Presumably in this thread(?) I commented earlier about press reports implying there was a relationship between them that this was the 'expected hype' as part of 'the sell' and could be totally groundless. I suspect the lady, being in a 'singing role' as opposed to an 'acting role' prefers a more demure scripting. Peter S.

Hi everyone, Here is a wide angle shot of Hayley resplendant in her red dress, singing Rule Britannia! This is followed by two more shots of Hayley and Vittorio singing "One Hand, One Heart". As you can see, there were times during the performance that Hayley did seem very much at ease and with more performances of this kind, I am certain that she will get better and better at it. Well done Hayley, you did a great job! Hayley Westenra: Rule, Britannia! Hayley Westenra, Vittorio Grigolo: One Hand, One Heart Hayley Westenra, Vittorio Grigolo: One Hand, One Heart But now, there's a small matter of a two hour concert to record "Live from Woburn!" Cheers, Dave

The audio recording of Woburn Live starts NOW on Classic FM. You can listen to it live HERE[/url]. Click on 'start listening' (or 'listen now' at the top of the page). Katie Derham said she had her wellies on. Good thing that I learned the word not so long ago as it seems it will be very useful in the UK Thanks for the fantastic pics, Dave. I love the look in their eyes. Vittorio is also a very romantic guy! Stephany
