Hi Grant, Thanks for your comments. Many more photos to come but posting is interspersed with bouts of activity here - builders arrive tomorrow for complete gut and refit of the kitchen Dave was lucky to catch that engaging look betwen Vittorio and Hayley. My impression is that she was a little bit uncomfortable with the eye-to-eye contact and the physical contact. This is evident in these two pictures, dont you think? Stuart

Hi All, Dave - I am quite spellbound by your first 2 photographs of Hayley and Vittorio... They are absolutely brilliant! These pictures really capture the expressions of the characters which Hayley and Vittorio are portraying... As far as the second photograph is concerned - because Hayley's face is in the shadow it looks all the more dramatic and brings out the highlights - just look at that twinkle in her eye! These are very fine pictures indeed Dave - very well done! I also really enjoyed reading your comments about the afternoon/ evening... no rain can dampen the spirits of 'HWI' !!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifAndrew

Thanks to all for the reports and great photos in spite of the appalling weather conditions. This just shows the dedication of HWI people.
Hopefully it will be dry in Shrewsbury Abbey at the weekend.

Thanks Andrew These next two pictures are for our fashion gurus to chew over. Two new dresses on show last night - the first one is green. ...and the second one is red, but you'll have to wait for that one! (But it sure is worth waiting for!)

Hi Stuart I totally agree and I've thought so ever since seeing the promotional videos. I think Vittorio could easily get swept up in the emotion of the moment (He is Italian after all!) sweep Hayley off her feet and give her a passionate kiss - All in the spirit of the occasion of course! I'm sure Hayley puts her heart and sole into the performance but would not get 'carried away' and certainly wouldn't want that. Still looks like it was a stunning performance though! Best wishes Grant P.S Good luck with the kitchen. Guess you'll be eating out for a bit!

Hopefully it will be dry in Shrewsbury Abbey at the weekend. Gordon AS far as I am aware Gordon, there is no intention to remove the roof from Shrewsbury Abbey and make it an open air event! Best wishes Grant

Hi all, Martin, thank you very much for your great report. We can easily see how much you were moved by this concert I am sorry to hear that you didn't get to hear 'I feel pretty'. It must be very difficult to perform it live though. Dave, Stuart and Drew - thanks for your amazing pictures. I particularly like the ones of Hayley with Vittorio. Magical! Peter, thanks for posting the programme. Seems like there were some great songs listed. How long was the concert by the way? Roger, did you enjoy this very special concert as much as the others? I remember you saying Hayley was at her best in Chichester. Is it still the case? Many thanks everyone for your reports and pictures. We look forward to seeing the rest and of course to hearing the concert on Classic FM. Best wishes to all, Stephany

These next two pictures are for our fashion gurus to chew over. Two new dresses on show last night - the first one is green. I'll have a go at describing her lovely green dress that we've come to know as her WSS dress. Anyone know which shoes she was wearing? The elegant black shoes from Wales and the WSS videos? Hayley is wearing a dusted green dress with an empire waist with rick rack on the edges. The rick rack gives the right amount of detail and pattern, along with the buttons (are the real or just decoration?) on the front of the dress. The simplicity of the dress is what makes it beautiful, and just right for the character of Maria. <3 Caite

Well done all, It feels strange not being part of the event, but I only returned from my wet Holiday in Cornwall yesterday , but it looks like Stuart assisted by Dave and Drew have kept up the standards we are used too! Hurry up with the RED dress Stuart! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI hope you all had a great time! It certainly looks like you did! It's a shame you did not get to meet Hayley afterwords. Hi Drew, Thank you very much indeed for sharing your contribution with us from Woburn Abbey... Don't worry about the video! At least you caught the whole performance in one frame! A similar capture from me, just before the video died. It looks as though the weather between the Abbey and the stage had got to Hayleys hair. I guess then some of the 'HWI' members should get together and buy Hayley a "stage umbrella" like the one Fiona Pears uses? I'm surprised you didn't offer Hayley your white tuxedo jacket to keep the rain off her hair... Don't worry Drew... just kidding! LOL Andrew

Hi Caite Many thanks for the excellent description of Hayley's WSS dress. As far as I was concerned it used to be just a 'loveley green dress' - I now consider myself enlightened! I love the term 'rick rack' by the way. Who dreamed that one up! Best wishes Grant
