Yet another fantastic set of pictures. Many thanks for sharing, Graeme. You captured very well the moment and Hayley looks very pretty. Even the blurry picture looks fabulous i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifLove, Stephany

Hi Stephany, Thanks for the compliments. I think this one just about wraps it up. She's thinking: now what did he say his name was?No, just found another one. Love the toenail paint. That'll do for now...amazing how hard it is to check whether all the pics are there & not miss any. I'm going to bed now. Apologies for any unanswered questions. Graeme

More great pictures Graeme.
Interesting that so many of us post pictures of Hayley that don't include much of the detail of her face, yet they still manage to show just how beautiful she is.
Your pictures also show that Hayley was very happy to be there and doing what she does next to best - being with her fans!
Best wishes Grant

Hi Graeme, Many thanks for sharing a great collection of photos with us here... I'm sure that May 1st 2007 was a very memorable day for you... Well now you've just made that day memorable for all of us! It just goes to show... with 'HWI' geographical distance is simply no object! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThanks Graeme! Hi Mark & Andrew...the pleasure was truly mine....It was truly memorable for me definitely. Mark, because I held my camera & centred Hayley's face & made sure my hands were steady, I didn't take too much notice of what she said. I can remember her face & hands being very animated & that delicious laugh of hers sounding. I think it started : Hi guys at HWI....have enjoyed my visit home & am now here in Australia...am looking forward to joining the Celtic Woman tour.....bye for now & take care. It was very Hayley...if you'd turned the sound off you still could have watched her happily.....I didn't realise then that I'd got the lot turned off. To quote Dave & Roger too I think......GRRR.... Disappointing to say the least. Graeme

Hello Graeme, Many thanks for the additional set of photos of Hayley from Readings. " Look at that queue! " I said out loud. Please don't fret over the loss of the "greetings to HWI". You've taken so many wonderful photos, given Hayley your gifts, Marianne's card as well. The only disappointment here is all of us not being in the bookshop! Warmest regards Graeme! Joe

I can appreciate your disappointment Graeme, but maybe the important thing here is that Hayley was happy to say something to us all through you.
Nothing seems too much trouble for our Hayley and that means an awful lot.
Thanks again for the great pictures and report by the way. Has Marianne seen them yet?
Best wishes Grant

Thanks Grant for your encouragement. Yes, she's seen some of them. She'd only just woken up this morning when I phoned her & sounded 93% asleep. She said Hayley looked very thin ie. out of proportion. Now since we all know that Hayley is not even the slightest fraction out of proportion, then it's got to be that the PC owner has his monitor resolution set wrongly.....I've done it myself while setting up monitors & you get a stretched x or y axis when you choose the wrong res. easily fixed tho but he's Spanish & our only common language is German which makes it awkward. Besides which Marianne's due to arrive back at Sydney Airport on mothers day which means that her time is going to be tight. The mind boggles doesn't it? Sydney Airport absolutely swarming with mothers. It will be the airport of all mothers. Graeme

Hi Graeme,
Once again, I want to say thanks for posting those pictures. You have received many well-deserved thanks already from long-standing HWI members, and I do feel a bit out of my league here, but I wanted to let you know (one last time, I think) that you have taken many beautiful pictures of dear Hayley.
And I agree with Grant. It's not entirely about listening to her greet HWI (though I be but a young member here and still have much to learn).
What makes it "cool" is that she chose to take time to address all of you. To me, it shows that she holds this lot of folks in a very dear spot. The message would've been neat to hear...but the thought behind it has been adequately remembered and the fact she chose to do so anyhow is WAY COOLER than the message itself!!
Excellent, excellent job, Sir! You've done us all proud....and thanks soooo much for sharing!
Eric

Hi Graeme,
I must say that Hayley sounds absolutely wonderful even in that sound check. I guess a Hayley sound check isn't really a normal sound check!
Its really great to hear that you had wonderful time. It must have been a bit surreal!
Now you have me thinking what Hayley meant when she said that the songs were already in her heart. Thats pretty deep! I guess that leaves me wondering what other music is going to come welling up out of there...
Thanks again for attending the event and posting for us all over this world that couldn't...
best, Peter T.

We've all boobed and lost something precious with this electronic stuff, Graeme. It sounds great, often is, but getting the hang of it and remembering... It's fine if you are using the stuff regularly--and I mean almost every day when matters happen instinctively--but unless oyu have the (like Lang Lang) the ability to look somewhere else than at what your fingers are doing (as Simon Bates, I think it was, said Lang Lang was doing while playing the Tchaikovsky--looking at the audience not his hands nor the piano keyboard) it is inevitable something will go awry.
It is one thing when it is your own fault. I have never forgotten (nor yet forgiven) the time a firm was processing some 35mm pictures I took on my first trip to Canada and they jammed in the processor and were all lost--two or three rolls of film!

Eric Please don't feel 'out of your league', Eric. This is an extraordianarily diverse community. We all have particular strengths but also weaknesses. Members have been kind enough to pay tribute to some of my efforts and I likewise to many of them for theirs. Being a part of the whole is key and there are many here from whom my weaknesses gather strength and enable me to converse on ever wider and sometimes deeper aspects, not just of Hayley and her renditions but on music generally. I rarely log on for a read without: - learning soemthing new
- able to make a contribution
- keeping quiet because that particular thread or threads on that day leave me spellbound by others' erudition.
Stay with us for heaven's sake, your contributions are welcome and add to our diversity and interest. Peter S.
