Grant, you saved me a tremendous amount of typing with your review, how can i possibly follow that! Other to say that i echo your thoughts, it was a truly memorable event and so lovely to see Hayley getting so invovled with the audience, hard not to when there only a matter of inches in front of you with just a chain between you! I will post one of the photos we are sending to the press of the presentation afterwards, showing Hayley at her true best, unfortunateley i didnt take any in the concert itself, fearing that my camera would get confiscated by the very strict front of house people! Grant, i am also glad you got to speak to hayley, i was a bit worried that they wouldnt stop as Ray seemed so anxious to get off to London when we were there, but obviously Hayley won the battle over time, especially if she went out to the grandstand, which doesnt surprise me as she seemed very anxious for news when we were with her. Look forward to seeing some more photos, and i will try to post my very few later.
Danny

Grant, an excellent report. Thank you for sharing the event with us and for staying up to complete it.
Many more reports like this and Hayley will be able to produce a third biography "In the words of HWI".
If you are not joining us at Woburn and Peter has exhausted the lead in his pencil it looks like the responsibility of reporting is down to me.
Just to set the scene for Woburn, there is an interesting comment on the insert with the tickets:
"Please do not: Approach or attempt to feed the deer or any other animals in the park."
If you see any animals other than the deer then you are probably in the Woburn Safari Park.

Thanks Danny. I'm really looking forward to the pictures of the presentation. As I said in my report, I'd actually asked Ray if he would stop and he said he would, so I didn't doubt that they would. As I think Peter mentioned in his report of Llangollen, we generally do have a reputation of 'understanding' a particular situation and behaving accordingly. Had Vicky and Andy been able to stay I would of course have introduced them and stayed in the background but, as it was, I had them all to myself which was great. I knew that our meeting would be brief even though I'd waited an hour for them. That didn't matter. What mattered to me was that I had demonstrated the support that HWI is well known for by waiting. Hayley acted surprised, but we know that fans have waited longer than I did just for a wave and I feel certain that Hayley gets as much pleasure from those little surprises as we do. I suppose I'd better go and sort out some more pictures now, before I get lynched Best wishes Grant

Hello everyone!
Here are a few more pictures.
'Lord of the Manor', Simon explaining about the one way system for getting in and out of the grandstand.Fiona 'warming up' prior to Hayley's entranceLighting conditions, distance and a very animated Hayley made photography quite difficult. Anyway - Here's Hayley!!More later

Very nice pictures or Hayley, Grant. I'm just curious about what Hayley's natural hair color is. Is it the dark shade that I see in some pictures or is it closer to the color that is in your two shots? Thanks and regards, Gene

Hello Gene
The more natural colour of Hayley's hair will show up more acurately in flash pictures. My current ones taken at Gawsworth Hall last night were taken using natural light, in this case stage lighting which often creates unusual colour casts.
Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant, I'm ashamed of myself - but this morning I was not able to read your report. So but now I want to thank you for your aptly record and especially the pictures - Hayley again with this superb green dress; simply great. I hope the experience as an one-man-queue was not too weird. All the best. Karsten

Hi Grant Thanks for the great photos. We always comment on Hayley (and justifiably) but I must say this photo of Fiona is a stunner. Martin

Thanks Martin, I suppose I should have commented more on Fiona. The dress she was wearing was particularly fine. Pity I couldn't have got a few of Hayley at the beginning of the concert when the early evening sun was shining. The first few were taken before Simons inaccurate announcement! To quote Dave Grrr!! Best wishes Grant

Here goes with the last few folks!"In Trutina"Hayley was talking about New Zealand at this point and was unimpressed by the small number of hands that went up when she asked how many of us had been! The very last one as Hayley leaves the stage to loud applause and shouts of "More!"Best wishes Grant
