Hello folks! This is going to be the first post on a new page, so I'll repeat the link again: www.gawsworthhall.com/theatre.html[/b] For the second year we are proud to present a sensational young talent whose rise over the last three years within classical music circles has been nothing short of meteoric. Having performed at some of the world's greatest concert venues, we are delighted that Hayley has found time within her hectic schedule to join us again for a truly memorable evening.
Hayley's debut albumn PURE went straight in at No 8 in the UK pop album charts and No 1 in the classical album charts together with unprecedented world wide sale success. Her new critically acclaimed follow-up album is on sale now.
Hayley appears by arrangement with Solo.
Adult / Child £24.50 / £20.50[/quote] More useful information from Gawsworth Hall's website:- Richard

Sorry for the question, but I have to ask : where is Gawsworth exactly ?? OK - it's the French fan talking, with a serious lack of knowledge about the UK's geography, I know.
Because I'll be on holidays from May to August (yea, it's great to be a student) and I want to plan everything for my summer. I'll probably do a job student; but if my schedule allows me to go to a Hayley's concert, I'll definitely try to attend.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks, Roger. It's not far from Manchester - so I'll ask my parents about it.

Hi all
Solo were the agents for last year's concert and I also wondered who they were.
Anyone thinking of attending should be aware that the venue is quite a way off the beaten track. There is a reasonable train service from London, Manchester and Stockport, but very few buses serving the village of Gawsworth. There is a pub in the village which serves meals, although I'm not sure about accommodation.
Tickets for the concert also include admission to the house and grounds which is well worth visiting.
The people are very friendly and may be able to offer some assistance when booking tickets.
Hopefully see you there!
Grant

You're right Stephany, it isn't far from Manchester. About 22 miles / 36 km, in fact. I hope you manage to go so you can tell us all about it. Roger

However... if this is any use... Gawsworth Hall is only 10 miles from Manchester Airport Cheers, Dave

This concert is again in my local area, wooo 2 Hayley concerts near my within 2 months! If you get a train to Congleton railway station, this station is served from London, Manchester, Birmingham etc. and make your way to the Bus Station in the town, there are buses from there that go to Macclesfield, i believe that some of these actually go past the Hall, however ive never actually travelled on this bus so how close they go i cannot guarantee.

Hello everyone. I booked for this concert this morning and was told to expect to receive my ticket in a couple of weeks (they haven't been printed yet!) Advanced warning for those of you that haven't been before and like to keep tickets as souvenirs. This venue tears tickets in half and no amount of pleading won't change that Also, it sold out quickly last year and by the cries of "Come back next year Hayley!" from last years audience, it will again. Thanks for the warning, Grant. I'm not sure I can make it because I can't book my tickets before knowing where I'll be working this summer. Hopefully when I'm in Manchester, there will be plenty other opportunities.

Hi Stephany, If your going to be in Manchester in June then maybe you should think about going to see Hayley in Stoke-on-Trent, its only a 25 minute train ride from Manchester and the venue there is meant to have some fo the best acoustics in Europe! Im lucky enough to be going to Gawsworth and Stoke but if you cant make Gawsworth Stoke is certainly a worthy alternative.

Thanks for the advice, Dkeeno. I was also considering the possibility of going to Stoke-on-Trent. I believe Mark is going as well. I'll do my best to go at least at one of both.

Hi Stephany Just to confirm, its Telford that I am going to on the 16th June. Its not to far from Stoke on Trent though. The Telford concert would be a great opportunity for you to see Hayley close up and almost certainly to meet het afterwards. It is a small venue, in a church, only about 400 in the audiance and apart from some support to break up the programme, just Hayley performing. It would be great to see you if you could make it to this one Best wishes Mark.

Oh right, my mistake! Telford that is. I can't make my mind yet because I still don't know where I'll be working but I'll make sure I have my day off. We'll see!

Hi Stephany, It's me that is going to Stoke-on-Trent... which will probably make you chose Telford! Roger
