Hi Steve
These are some of the best photos of Hayley in concert I've seen.
The last two pictures on post 138 are sublime.
Many thanks for sharing them.
Kind regards

Hi everyone I've posted a couple of new MP3s from the Reading concert - Time to Say Goodbye and Never Saw Blue. Sorry for the handling noise on Never Saw Blue. You can download them from here: public.me.com/crhumphrey/HayleyThe usual warnings for UK members - go and see the concerts first before downloading and listening to these Kind regards Colin

Hi everyone I'm pleased people have liked the recording of Amigos Para Siempre. For another treat, I've now put I Know You By Heart up on the site as well. This is Hayley's beautiful version of the Eva Cassidy song. I've only put it up as an MP3 so as to save my bandwidth - which means it's only 5GB and not 40+GB. You can find it here: public.me.com/crhumphrey/HayleyI hope you'll all like this too. Though I would say if you're going to any of the Valentine's concerts you may want to refrain from listening to it until you've been. Kind regards Colin

Let me know if you can play them (they were made on a Mac) and if there's any demand for any of the other songs from the concert - I have them all but they are of varying quality. Hi Colin, Both files played very well!!! GREAT STUFF! Thank you! Paulo Correia Thanks, Paulo. Look out for one or two more over the next few days Kind regards Colin

Hi Colin I downloade the .wav file in 11 minutes and it plays perfectly but how did you know to leave the recorder running to catch the reprise/encore? That last note of Hayley's is out of this world!! many thanks Grant Hi Grant I wasn't going to miss anything, if you catch my meaning i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifAs for that last note, I think the only word to describe Hayley singing like that is thrilling. And I'll see over the next few days which other songs I can extract from my recordings. I'm afraid though that one or two are beyond saving owing to the amount of background noise. You've got some wonderful photos again by the way, thanks for sharing them. Kind regards Colin

Hi everyone I've got a couple of audio files of Amigos Para Siempre from Reading on Sunday night here: public.me.com/crhumphrey/HayleyThe .wav file is 54MB and will typically take around 20 minutes to download, while the .mp3 file is 7.5MB and takes around 3 minutes (these are the speeds I achieved on a good broadband connection, but with download speeds from the Apple servers of only around 30-50kbps). Let me know if you can play them (they were made on a Mac) and if there's any demand for any of the other songs from the concert - I have them all but they are of varying quality. Kind regards Colin

WOW!Wow, wow, wow!!! Just back from Reading, and I'm wearing a smile a mile wide i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifHayley 2009 is sounding lovelier than ever. This goes to show that she was absolutely right to go back to NZ last year to recuperate, because she really has come back better than ever. No photos I'm afraid and I'll leave the concert review till a little later. But anyone who's going to one of the remaining Valentine's concerts - you're in for a treat! Kind regards Colin

Hi
Possibly Yuki No Hana from HSJS - it contains lyrics about snow flowers?
And Gabriel's Message - "his wings as drifted snow".
Kind regards

Hi everyone
With the Valentine's Tour just a week or so away it occurs to me that most of us have only heard three or four duets between Hayley and Jonathan. While they may each sing a couple of their own songs, I guess, this still means there's the likelihood that we will hear at least seven or eight songs we've never heard them sing before at each concert.
I wonder if anyone wants to speculate what songs we might hear them sing?
I may be wrong, but has there ever been a duet of Moon River? I think they could do it brilliantly (though I'd love Hayley to do it on her own as well), and with lines like "two drifters, off to see the world..." I think it could work as a duet.
Sorry mods, not sure if I should have opened up a new thread for this?
Kind regards
Colin

Hi everyone I thought from the NZ Stuff interview that Hayley was actually sending Decca UK a message: "I'm not a classical singer, I'm not a crossover singer, just call me a singer - so please don't expect the fourth international album to qualify for the UK classical charts..." If you take this interview together with some of her interviews at the end of last year, where she intimated that she'd learnt the need to take more musical risks, I think that Hayley's thoughts for her international career are steering her towards the successes she's finding with these Japanese releases. The artistic expansion this will give her is immense because she can still record the classical and traditional songs that she likes but won't then be pressured to include so many on each album. A more singer-songwriter style, hopefully with more and more self-penned compositions will I believe prolong her career greatly provided the quality of the "modern" songs remain as high as it has always been in the past. Kind regards Colin

Hi I-H-F Just seen Dave's video link. Its great to see Hayley feeling well again, and back to her old self. I'll definitely have to order the second Japanese album after watching the video. What is the official release date of the CD? The CD is released on 11 March 2009. Kind regards Colin
