I agree with mihizawi on this one.

Steve, maybe it would broaden her career a bit, but it seems to me that her own voice shines on its own, and I can't see why that alone doesn't make her more popular. True, Celtic Woman made her more popular in the U.S., so maybe something along the lines of The Three Tenors, as Michal says, wouldn't be so bad. But if she did that, you'd miss out on a real Hayley concert. Going by all the reviews of Hayley's concerts, it would be a sad thing to miss out on Hayley concerts for a concert of the three together. I'm sure that would be a nice show, too, but it wouldn't be the same for Hayley fans.
I prefer Camilla because I enjoy pretty female voices, not necessarily every female singer that has singing talent. I think Camilla has a pleasant, soft voice. I do not enjoy mezzosopranos, not Faryl or Katherine Jenkins. Charlotte Church was a soprano, and I don't care for her voice that much, either. Hmm, I guess maybe it's tone. Maybe it's too harsh and operatic. I don't like vibrato or back-of-the-throat, yawning tones, which is what I hear in some real opera singing. I just like beautiful voices. Hayley's voice is extraordinarily beautiful, and she just happens to sing some classical songs.

Hello Libby! This is off-topic, but you can safely forget about Charlotte Church. She severed her connections with the classical scene a while ago now, so only her early recordings remain as a reminder of that stage of her career. Richard

Yes, that it was I was referring to. Whether she's classical now or not does not change the status of the albums I first listened to. I liked her voice at first, but as she started getting older, I didn't enjoy it quite as much. Then I discovered Hayley. Enough said.

Hello Libby! Yes, I quite liked Charlotte's voice in her early years, and she certainly inspired other young singers and musicians to take up classical music. This led to Hayley's regular appearances at the Classical BRIT Awards, and I've got this thread back on topic. Richard

Just seen this. I think itis an exciting idea, but not, as has been said, at the expense of the three singer's solo careers. And yes, Camilla is my question mark too. No probls with Hayley or Faryl, but Camilla seems the "rawest" of the three. That being said, she is learning fast, and colaborating with the others could only be god for her.
But, bearing in mind commercial consideraions and different recird companies, I can't see Camilla being able to do it. Pity.

Yes, Camilla's voice is pretty, but her ability, from what little I've heard, doesn't compare with the other two, especially Hayley.

No question that Hayley & Faryl together would be a formidable team, but who do we think should be the third member of the trio? I think must of us agree that Camilla isn't really good enough (Sorry, Camilla fans). Should it be left as a duo? Do we keep it to women only, or throw someone like Jonathan Ansell in? He can (Nearly) hold his own with Hayley so should have no problems doing the same with Faryl.
Hmmm... Actually, I really like that idea...

Well, those three will make a concert together soon if I don't remember wrong. I wonder if they'll sing a song together. And here's a video of Faryl and Jonathan singing Prayer together: www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1zqpSF2_gcMichal

We can hope. Jonathan & Hayley have sung together quite a lot, Faryl & Jonathan and Hayley & Faryl have sung together a little, so... Some very nice possibilities, there

Well, there's nothing saying any of these girls are going to form a trio or duo, so why are we worrying about the details? And why would anyone want Hayley to stop having her own major singing career, to share with others that not everyone is all that crazy about? As I said, a collaboration with them on one of their albums or live performances are great, but I think that's good enough for most of us. And I'm sure that's all that will happen anytime soon, if anything at all. Michal, when are Hayley, Jonathan, & Faryl going to be singing together?

Here. They are gonna be in the same concert, however we don't know yet if they will sing together, but that's rather possible, isn't it? Would be interesting. Michal LOL, Richard, you were faster!

Because speculation is sometimes fun and interesting, of course. And no-one is talking about any of them giving up their solo careers. That would be rather silly of them, don't you think? (And sillier of us if we wanted them to - which we don't!) The Three Tenors certainly didn't give up THEIR solo careers to perform together, and that's the format we're discussing.

I don't think we'd want Hayley to give up her solo concerts, either, which really would be tragic. Especially for those who have never seen her in concert. At least if she ever comes here, she would probably be by herself, because none of the aforementioned artists are anywhere near well-know in this country. Hayley is definitely more well-known than Faryl, Camilla, or Jonathan.
