Hi
Just to say The Music of the Spheres is up on iTunes UK now as the studio and live albums together at a cost of £11.95. You can buy the songs individually, so it is possible to buy the studio CD cheaper in the stores and just get the live versions of On My Heart and On My Heart (Reprise).
Best regards
Colin

Hi everyone I've seen this on the Mike Oldfield website: The exclusive launch for Mike Oldfield’s new album release ‘Music Of The Spheres’ will take place this Friday, 7th March at the Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao. The launch event will include a world premiere of the entire album with full orchestra, full choir and Hayley Westenra. The event is guestlist only.
The audio from the premiere will be recorded for an UK iTunes exclusive to promote the album from March 17th. Other countries around the world are also making this available to purchase via iTunes or other digital retailers. Keep checking this website for more details nearer the time.We will be able to listen to the premiere with Hayley Kind regards Colin

Hi everyone Also check out www.mikeoldfield.comwhere the release date of the album is now confirmed as 17 March 2008. On the home screen you can hear four or five clips of music from the album - it certainly sounds like his best possibly since Tubular Bells. On My Heart is gorgeous. If you go to the News page and scroll down, he also talks of collaborating with "the legendary soprano, Hayley Westenra" Cheers Colin

To paraphrase one of my favourite movies:
Southampton. By all means, Southampton. I will cherish the concert here in memory as long as I live.
This was the fourth time I've seen Hayley live, and was lucky enough to meet her afterwards. So from the a cappella "Pokarekare ana..." at the start, in a wonderfully intimate concert hall, to having my photo taken with her at the end, this was the tops for me.

Colin, this was an excellent find! Cheers, Dave Thanks, Dave. But I think Stephany deserves the praise - she's done all the hard work here! Regards Colin

Thanks for finding that, Stephany - I thought if anyone could track it down you'd be able to - it sounds exciting. Incidentally, I was the person who asked you if Hayley would be signing at Buxton - sorry if I startled you, but you were the only person from HWI I recognised from your avatar. I think it was Grant who was with you who gave me the answers, so thanks to both of you. Best regards Colin

Hi
I've got a large DVD collection and I let people at work borrow them. I've obviously never charged any of them for this, except for the last month...
Anyone who wanted to borrow a DVD in the last month - had to vote for Hayley at the Classical Brits to do so! I think I've earned about a dozen extra votes this way.
Can people think of other ways to make their work colleagues vote?
Best regards
Colin
