Dave, I did the download Sunday nite, curious to see the pence to dollars conversion.( its not posted as of Tuesday). Anyone else, you may need the codec in WMP10 to open the file, I don't like WMP10, but you can roll it back after the upgrade and the codecs stay in WMP9..........TimJ

Hi Joe, I have Verizon DSL, downloading 2.5 to 3 meg a minute, but i can use the phone at the same time. I had a cable modem for a while, but it was not much faster, (download speed can be restricted at the source end). Verizon sometimes has a special price like $18 a month,if your in their area, there may be other service providers too!! Anyhow, if you go hi-speed you'll never go back to dialup......TimJ

Thomas, your mailservice may block HW.com because of security settings, I had to open a hotmail account to get a password from the HW site.....TimJ

a/v synch /Roxio, i extracted a wav file, muted the native audio and added the wav file as background
audio, seems clumsy but it synched right up......TimJ
(i never wanted to know this much about videos)

i have a 200meg video file (vro or mpeg) of Hayley from the hour of power (oct. 05), when i encode it to convert to dvd format or .wmv, the audio and video go out of synch. i'm using Roxio easy media creator 7.5..
can anyone with video experience help me with this??

help! i can't access the main page via the new server. i used the HWI/html menu to get here. i have xp-sp2, internetexplorer 6.0, the homepage i accessed is from 2004(i think).any ideas......anyone......i don't want to fool around and break the www!
