Hayley's speaking voice is distinct without being edgy, as is her mum's. I suspect it may be the NZ accent. I'll know for sure in Feb.......TimJ

The Tony Danza Show was on the TV in 2004 and I heard Hayley singing Pokarekare Ana, stopped me in my tracks, most beautiful voice I ever heard. Travelled 154 miles to New York City to see her at The Supper Club that fall, sometimes I travel even further now....TimJ

I vote Italian, its the easiest to sing, no dipthongs, and lots of vowels to carry the voice! ..... TimJ

Go for it Hayley, Andrea has an Elvis tune on his Amore cd, and Katherine Jenkins -L'more se tu- was written by Dolly Parton.
There are lots of C/W tunes with great lyrics, they may need musical rearrangment to match Hayley,s style. C/W has a HUGE audience in the U.S.

Yes I do it's Saturday, 23 hours ahead of GMT in CHCH or 18 hours ahead of (US)EST. God bless Email, I can't figure when to call anyone since I'm on the other side of the time difference, (I'm killing time waiting for the CHAT).....TimJ
