Hi Grant! Great to hear from you! I'll look forward to see you and your friend in Sheffield. Because Teresa hasn't seen Hayley live it is a "must" that we meet Hayley after the show to introduce your friend to Hayley. Let's hope we are lucky enough. I'm so excited. Thomas

Not long to go now Thomas! I had a long chat with Steve Abbott about this concert during the interval at Telford last night. He doesn't think he will be there and doesn't know whether they will be selling CD's. This is because it appears Hayley will be travelling to Sheffield by train which will limit what can be carried to the concert. It looks likely that we will have to take up positions at the stage door to be sure of seeing her. She does, however, know that we are coming. An interesting observation, however, is that there are no late trains back to London after the concert so (and this is pure speculation on my part) it looks likely that they will stay overnight in Sheffield. If they do, then it's almost a certainty that they will travel to Cardiff by train! See you on Friday Grant

Hi Grant! I look forward to next weekend very much. But if there is something I do not look forward to then it's the train ride through England. My tour London-Sheffield and Cardiff-London shouldn't be a problem. Just the train ride Sheffield-Cardiff that was offered to me looks quite uncomfortable. I depart Saturday morning at 5 a.m. and travel for about 5 1/2 hours and have to change the train 3 times. Later trains that were available arrive in Cardiff too late. Then I checked the train schedule for a Saturday one and two weeks later and there are better and more connections. I guess I booked too late for 9th Dec. But it's the morning after my next Hayley concert and so I'll be over the moon anyway to think about crazy train schedules. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif If Hayley goes by train as well I hope she was luckier than me with her train schedule. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBut first there will be a great concert in the City Hall. See you there. Thomas

I hope you have a great trip, Thomas. If you are travelling in daylight I can assure you of some lovely scenery and you will certainly be seeing England. I am quite envious.
Some of you chaps are doing the sort of travelling, chasing Hayley round the country that I did last Fall. This time I have just had my friend from the States over for this last week. This weekend I am with friends in Somerset, then Hayley and oh gosh its Christmas!
I'm having difficulty keeping up as it is!
All the best and have a great time!...Provided you report, of course!

Hi Thomas and Grant
I will be taking the 12.25pm train from St. Pancras, arriving at Sheffield at 2.47pm. I hope we can meet up before/after the concert. Any ideas?. I am staying at a central hotel so will have plenty of time after the concert. Hopefully we can meet Hayley?
I last saw her at Canterbury and I hope the sound is better.
Tony

Hi Tony
Good to hear that there are others from HWI attending this one. I am bringing a friend and am planning to leave my car at the Halfway park and ride tram terminus and then ride the tram into the city.
The tram stop for City Hall is at the rear, so we shall walk down past the stage door. We will probably arrive about 5.30 but guess we'll need to find something to eat.
Keep your eyes open on the train though - you may see Hayley before we do, as Steve intimated she would be coming up by train also!
Anyway, suggest you hover somewhere around City Hall and we should all bump into each other eventually!
See you on Friday
Best wishes Grant

I arrive early in London so I'll take the train at 10.25am form St. Pancras. If my flight is late I'll take the train an hour later. After I've checked in at my hotel I will linger at the Stage Door. Hope we have the possibility to talk to Hayley. That makes the event very special. Thomas

Does that mean I shall have Hayley to myself--poor girl! Peter S
