Hello everybody! There is an article, with a competition to win tickets to see Hayley with Il Divo, in today's Sunday Mail. 16 July 2006 HAYLEY: I'M IL DIVO'S LITTLE SISTERHAYLEY WESTENRA says she has no chance of romance with an Il Divo hunk - because they treat her like a little sister. The 19-year-old singer will perform at Edinburgh Castle on Thursday before the popera stars take to the stage. She said: "We get along great. There's no romance - they all watch their language around me." We're offering three readers the chance to win a pair of tickets to see Hayley and Il Divo. For your chance to win simply tell us which high-waisted talent show judge put together Il Divo. Call 0901 562 8722 and leave your answer, name, address, phone number and date of birth. Or text SM8722 followed by a space, your answer, space, your name, space, date of birth and send to 86600. Contest closes noon on Tuesday. Calls from 60p per minute. Text entries £1.50 plus standard text rate. Sunday Mail rules apply.

I think that little confidence into the relationships with Il Divo is a great publicity point. It immediately kills all specuiation. A so natural, open resposne that could not in any way be a decoy. Peter

"nemo me impune lacessit" represents the motto of the Order of the Thistle. This means "No one provokes me with impunity" or in other words... "No-one messes with me and gets away with it"!!!

Well who's for a sneak preview of the Hayley/ 'Il Divo' stage 2 days before the show? The construction work began on Tuesday morning and this is how the stage looked on Tuesday afternoon. As you can see the lighting rig and P.A. system haven't been set up yet.
Everything seems to be well and truly under way though...

Hello Andrew
I can see you are getting very excited! You have some great photos there. I can just imagine what it is going to be like when preparation work is complete and the castle grounds are full of eagerly waiting fans.
Have a great night on the 20th and I look forward to your report of the evening. Have you got any more surprises for Hayley following your fantastic idea of the Westenra Tartan?
Best wishes
George

Hi Andrew, I know Hayley really appreciated the Westenra tartan sash but I think she's going a bit OTT organising this huge venue just for you! Have a great time on Thursday. Roger

Thanks for all the Edinburgh Castle pics Andrew. My last visit to Edinburgh was in 1971!! Tell me is the arena seating erected every summer only (eg. for the Tattoo) or is this one a special?? We usually get a TV coverage of the Tattoo here (Australia) which I generally watch with great enthusiasm. Below is a link to Edinburgh Castle events with a mention of 'Il Devo' . That must be Scots for Il Divo. www.edinburghcastle.biz/news.htmlEnjoy the concert on Thursday .........Graemek

Hi Hayley, Welcome back to Edinburgh- It's SO wonderful to have you back! It's going to be such an exclusive evening tonight to have you performing at the Castle- a huge honour and truly a historical event! I guess you won't feel quite so homesick with the heatwave that's hit the UK? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif You will have some beautiful memories from tonight to reflect on when you return home for your break in Christchurch NZ next month! I'm really looking forward to a superb evening! See you at the Castle... Lots of Love, Andrew xxx
