Hi guys, I am wondering if there is a particular reason why Pure shot up the UK classical charts this week, reaching its highest position for nearly 6 months. One thing I can think of is, maybe "Pure" was being sold officially at the Kenwood House concert last Saturday. Does anyone know oif that was the case? Sales until about 4 am on Sunday morning would have counted towards this week's charts, so another possibility is that people who were not already Hayley fans, returned home from the concert and immediately ordered Pure online, before they went to bed. Well over a hundred of them (maybe over 200)!!! Or has Hayley been in the spotlight in some other way? Cheers, "Puzzled" from Hampshire.

Hi Dave,
I have just made a similar observation on your "Charts" thread. I am as puzzled as you are especially now you have said the cut-off point is about 4am on Sunday. That discounts my suggestion that sales were boosted by her appearance at the Pony Centre.
In answer to your question, I saw no evidence of Pure being on sale at Kenwood House but, yes, it is possible that people may have ordered it online. However, the event was billed as a Hayley concert. Therefore, surely the majority of the audience were existing fans and would already have bought Pure?
The puzzlement currently existing in Hampshire has spread to neighbouring Sussex!
