Here's another snippet; speaking of "less", I like this part even less. I think the problem is it does not suit her voice well, plus it's just not the catchiest song: Yea the first part of it sounded good but the second part of the clip sounded a bit off, then again it's not technically her song writing from what I've heard so far 🤷🏻♂️. Good to hear that she still has that amazing voice still ❤️😍 |

That's the same clip as I heard yesterday of the same song (I thought somebody already posted it, too).
I never said it was bad, so relax, guys. I'm all for positive messages, but ho-hum tunes don't impress me, unfortunately. Sorry if I like to hear Hayley singing something way better than this (you know, like her own music). I was complimenting Hayley by saying she's capable of way better songwriting (and singing, honestly) than this. And while I'm certainly grateful for having the opportunity to hear part of it, it's hard to be very excited about it since it's something she'll likely never sing again (that's a relief). What I'd really like to know is what other songs she sang.
Back in the saddle? I wish! A private event like this is just a money-maker for her. She's had concerts and performances every year. When we have an album and some semblance of a tour, then that will be a return.
You know, I've actually wondered recently if the reason she's so quiet is that she has a job outside her music career. I doubt it, but seriously. Could these one-off events really be so high-paying that she has no need for any other source of income?

Mediocre songs aside, Hayley's DRESSes are what I'm talking about  I love that purplish blue one, and I hope to see a better shot soon. But I LOVE this white dress, and her hair, and the necklace, etc. But I still haven't seen the shoes, though we can see they are sandal style, and I assume they're high heeled. LOL Too bad we can't get a permanent pic by Hayley herself on her own page. I have ben away from the forum for a while, but saw the clip on Facebook and thought I should join in on this one. I agree it is nice to hear something new from Hayley when I have not heard anything from her for ages, but do not think this song is her best.
Also what Libby posted about Hayley having another job is interesting because I have often thought this because although Pure was a big success surely she can’t live off this forever and she is not as prolific with tours and albums as other artists.

I did have to look twice at that one photo...but the other pic of the violinist’s left hand! Speaking of hands, Hayley’s watch might say 10:20 or so. It is quite possible that Hayley has job, at least to cover rent, insurance and everyday expenses like we all have. Hello Susie! Good to see you here again! |

Plus, although it doesn't make sense for her to, I thought it was Hayley holding the violin until I examined it more closely, due to "the finger" I saw. LOL At the moment, I can't remember what dress Hayley wore to the Taiwan concert last year (I remember one of them), but this white dress along with her hair style and the gold necklace, and her great smile, she looks incredibly classy there. The dress itself is quite plain, but I like the shoulder straps and neckline, and it's nice to see her in a long gown again. We really have not seen that in years! I believe she wore a longer dress in Dublin the last time, but we never did see a good photo of it, and some of the reports of the color were not very complimentary (and no, they were not my comments, it was from someone who was there. LOL). Other than that, she's worn a lot of short, cocktail style dresses. In fact, those are what she wore in the late 2014 concerts. In 2015, she wore a long dress, the grayish, brownish one that she also wore to the concert at the Great Wall of China (that is so long ago now, isn't it?). A nice style, but the color left something to be desired, as well. |
