I have no idea. We haven’t found anything yet, and Hayley herself has posted nothing, despite the fact that it’s probably over now. I don’t expect her to post a video, but just a selfie showing what she wore would be great. Posting that she’s in Hong Kong, but never telling us what she’s actually doing there is somewhat frustrating, if I’m going to be honest. Never mind that we found out ourselves... it’s kind of fun being a “sleuth”, but after 3+ years of it, I do get a little weary of being obligated to do so all the time. That said, I’m still holding out hope that she’ll post something after all. *Sigh* Yea I gotta agree with you on everything you just said. It would of been awesome if she posted something about what she wore or a snippet of singing 🤦🏻♂️😓😓 I'm really hoping that she at least posts a link or something that lets us know where to check out her performance. That’s something she’s never done, and probably never will. Events like this that aren’t advertised usually aren’t shown, either. Pictures are the most I’d hope for. The last time she had a concert, she posted several times. And the last time she performed in Hong Kong, she didn’t post anything of the actual performance, but she still posted photos of the city, and some of her activities. The performance photos came from other sources. So far we have neither. |

I think there will be something eventually. I’m sure we’ll all keep a lookout, and hopefully Hayley will post something, too. 🤞

Hi all...I moved all of the recent Hong Kong posts here, as they were being scattered about in the Social Media and Welcome threads! We do have more rehearsal pics and some song info, and a quick performance VIDEO from today's private Longines HKIR Gala Dinner! Hayley sang four songs! Thanks to our friends at HW Fans Taiwan from whom all this info is from. Let's get started!  ...  Rehearsal pic. Hayley at the back. Note the 'May It Be' sheet music! On Hayley Westenra fans Taiwan site there is a video posted about a week ago. A clip of 1:37 from Bridge over troubled water starting at the line "sail on silver girl .... Hayley is in a beautiful red satin dress and her hair is about the same length as in her recently posted picture but darker. I wonder if the video was shot on this current visit to HK Later : Ok I checked it on my computer, It is from Venus Fort Japan, Some information does not show up as easily on a phone. It was most likely from a Taiwan concert back in 2013... question, what color was her hair, and how long was it? Also, I recall he posted something from one of those concerts recently. Doesn't mean she didn't sing it here, just means she probably didn't wear red. More info from FastTrack Hong Kong: A snippet from his profile explains his statement about a song; I wonder what the song will be, and if we could possibly hear it.  ... former Executive Director EMI and UMG Music Asia... And, I believe we already know who wrote the song, if we we've been paying attention.  However, because I paid attention so well, I assumed she sang yesterday, because it said "tonight". Clearly, they were incorrect on the day, although I'm sure she rehearsed it that day. So, I was waiting for Hayley to post something when it hadn't happened yet, all because this person got the day wrong. So, now, I'm very pleased that Hayley did post something on the night after all. Too bad it was only a story, though... (watch, tomorrow she'll post a pic... I hope ). I'm not crazy about it myself. I know Hayley writes better songs than that, and she usually isn't so thin and nasl. Although I suppose we don't really know how she "usually" sings anymore. When is the last time we've actually heard her sing? I mean, other than Taiwan fans last November?  |
