Yes, I remember we discovered that last year, too.

Today I also had that dreaded photobucket P500 message. I had to replace my avatar and signature images, as well as some around the forum. I found a great, FREE, images host called postimage.org. I simply entered my Photobucket link, select no expiration and the image size (seems the 1600x1200 size for 21-inch monitors is best for me -- do let me know if my avatar and sig images look OK for you).

Hello Joe! Some of the extra smilies have disappeared. I believe they were linked from your Photobucket account. Richard

Okay, tell me where the butterfly is: That's right, nowhere. That's a floral image I see on the bag. No fauna seen anywhere. Oh, and there's a crystal ball icon in the bio section of her twitter, and a unicorn at the top of her instagram photos page. So, yeah, it's crystal balls that she likes.

I just tried to upload it to Facebook, and the same thing happened. While it appears in my folder itself when I open my folder just to look at it, it's there. But when I tried to upload it to FB, it would not show up to be able to upload.

Well, thanks for being concerned about my paying attention skills. LOL Here are some butterfly images I took today myself. I also took a video, but I can't find it when I browse the folder it's in to upload to photobucket. It is there when I open the folder normally, but not when I go to upload from the same folder. Oh well, I can upload it to FB and embed it here. Take note of the video file extension in the folder where you can see it. Sometimes there is an arrow head selector button in the UPLOAD folder, it may be showing "File types .jpeg" with a menu button on the side, click the button and it may show a list of file type extensions, look for the one that is the same as your video file, Possibly .AVI or .MVI. It is sometimes handy to write down the sequence of actions you take to Upload or whatever you do on a computer so that you can do it again at a later date.

Hi all...
Just to follow-up on the Photobucket situation, I do see many posts old and new, from everyone, with that dreaded Photobucket 'ransom note' in place of an image.
I will try to fix these this week!

I'm not sure where to find the file extension, or what that might look like. I also don't know where any upload folder is. There's a number below it, then a location under Properties, but that's all I can find.

Well, I got the dreaded email from Photobucket yesterday. Ate they really so keen to annoy their customers? I hope you'll forgive me if I don't go to the trouble of relocating all my photos on this forum to somewhere else. That would be a big job, and I have other projects. So at best it is going to be a few at a time.
