I understand why you didn't share Bao Bei; the quality was quite horrendous (I've never cared for the song anyway; I'm sorry, it does not really suit her voice). I tried another video by that uploader, and it was equally horrendous. The first Flowers in the Rainy Night/Amazing Grace video was too short, of course, but I will say the sound quality was much better on it the full-version. Maybe see if a better quality full-version one shows up. Speaking of full versions, I was disappointed that Flowers itself was not the full-version! I really like that song, and I like it a little better than Sweet As Honey. I love the catchy, cheerful tune to Honey of course, but I have just always loved that beautiful tune to Flowers, and how pretty Hayley's voice sounds. I have remembered the tune after all this time, even though I realized I haven't even listened to it that often since the first time I heard it. Speaking of Sweet as Honey, it seems she actually has been to Taichung before, contrary to what she said in the rehearsal video (I guess she just didn't remember):

Yes, well done Dave! The gallery page loaded in about five seconds, and the embedded videos all play correctly. Richard

Too bad most of the videos are just short clips. Well, I found a full version of Yuki No Hana, though it is sideways! Other than that, it's good quality (sound and visual clarity): His version of Open the Window was better, too, except for being sideways: Oh, and here's Bao Bei, too!

That's probably accurate Libby. She was halfway round the world! Martin D

Wow, I love the clips of the Rose and Eidelweiss (probably spelt that wrong), and Open the Window to The Heart (and the others obviously) I wish they were all full length videos but it's great to just have something new. I hope they make it onto an album one day! I'm still hoping she will record My Heart Will Go On, I really liked that when she sang it in China I believe a few years ago, it could happen one day, here's hoping LOL. The Rose is one of my favourite song, and Hayley sings it so well, as I knew she would.

I have heard many many singers do "The Rose" but none better than Hayley. She just does it, it seems so natural. That's it, that's true talent. She has to be heard, worldwide. She is still the finest singer I have ever heard. She just needs the exposure.

Well, in Yuki no Hana, she sings "autumn" I think rather than "winter" as on the album. Bao Bei was if I'm honest a bit of a disaster, but Hayley recovered well. I felt embarrassed for her, she wasn't sure when to come in. But I can forgive her that, she is still the finest singer I have ever heard, and is still getting better. What we need now is a new album, and lots of concerts all over the world. I know it is asking a lot of Hayley, but she is far too good a singer to ever let that talent be wasted and not reap its full reward.

Thanks for all the extra videos folks, keep 'em coming! I haven't time tonight to check them all but if anyone thinks any of the new ones are better than any of the existing nine on the HWI page, or should be added as extras, I can replace/add them so let me know. Sideways videos aren't a problem, I can fix that if they are otherwise improvements. Also, if there are two clips but between them they include a longer section of a song, I could probably join them and use that instead. www.hayley-westenra-international.com/content/hayley-concert-taiwan-videosCheers, Dave

Sing, there is a full version of Open the Window of my Heart, it's just that Hayley herself hardly sings at all! But when she does, it's outstanding. It's really too bad she couldn't have sung it most of the way through. Most of it was like that choir video Frank shared which showed us what the song sounded like, except with Hayley singing at the beginning and end. I have to say, I'm quite disappointed by that. Oh, well, better than nothing, I guess. Also still disappointed by the truncated version of Flowers in the Rainy Night. Martin, I don't think Bao Bei was a disaster. I think she was allowing the audience to sing it with her, and since she's an experienced singer, and most of the audience would not be, SHE is the one who knows when to come in, they don't. So, if she's allowing them to lead, as could be the case, she has to go by them out of courtesy, not sing it how she knows, and leave the audience in the dust. It was just for the audience's fun, not a perfect performance. I do have to admit, I tend to get annoyed by this type of concert performance; when I'm searching for a concert version of a song I like, and I find one that includes way too much audience participation, I find I can't enjoy it, because that's not what I wanted to listen to. Now, if I were there, and part of the singing audience, I might find it more enjoyable. Otherwise, I thought she performed Bao Bei as well as she could. I partially take back what I said: Her voice does suit the chorus part, the Ya-ya-ya, part, but it definitely does not suit the verses. It's too low and choppy for her. For that reason I did not bother to download the UK bonus track version of Hushabye... especially since I wasn't a fan of that album to begin with. I only bought the US version out of support for her album sales here. I prefer the Japanese version, which I also have. I don't even think I opened my US version; the same is true with my US version of Paradiso. Anyway, getting back on topic... Dave, you could maybe add Yuki No Hana and turn it right-side up. I enjoyed that song more than I did when I first heard it. For that reason, I never ripped it off my HSJS1. Back then, I didn't find it especially exciting, but I liked it when I heard it this time. Maybe I'll add it to my music collection, after all.

Thanks to 許志誼's amazing High quality video (sideways) of Yuki No Hana, I've now put together a video for y'all to enjoy She sang this song one other time, but we couldn't get a proper video of it, so this is like the first proper live version so I had to do it! Some Complex image stabilization had to be done to fix the shaky cam, and some studio magic XD and Tada! And ofcourse cleaned up the audio for a better and richer sound. Hayley looked and sounded perfect, so I couldn't help but put some effort on this! Enjoy everyone! And HWI is free to share this video or put it among your other videos Just a little something I can do. EDIT: Reuploaded the video with much better audio quality For those who've already listened, please do relisten.

It did seem like something was off with Bao Bei. She kept looking back at the instrumentalists and touching her ear piece. Either way, she still sounded good
