I think that in future, to avoid becoming a nuisance, it should in general perhaps be only staff members that use this contact information. Hi Jim, Yes indeed, that's how we've always done it in the past... albeit mostly with Hayley's management rather than booking agent. They always check with her anyway before establishing regular contact, so hopefully, when (hopefully 'as') Hayley has resumed more frequent activities, that will happen again. Cheers, Dave |

Finally, some concerts/events! I'm already looking forward to seeing what dress she wears! Oh, and it is exactly 6 months after Taiwan! Hopefully the next one will be less than 6 months away from that one, at least! Alicia, that certainly is a long list of questions! LOL But all of which I'd like an answer to, as well. I would hope that by then we'll know at least something! That would very disheartening. It's already been disheartening, actually, but to still not know anything, after over 2 years of seeing clues and hints of an album, would be pretty devastating. So yes, comet, Grant, Martin, etc., we will be expecting you to interview her as best you can.  We need information desperately! I certainly hope they don't do like they did in Cork, and whisk her off to meet with some dignitary again. I would imagine she will sing the new song, and you never know, by then she might even include another new one! We can always hope. And if she does, someone HAS to record it, even if it has to be secretly recorded by some "anonymous" tourist.  Libby, thought I would make the requests as soon as possible before everyone saw the thread. lol In the last week, we have answered one question for sure: this is happening! The new song(s) seem likely to be performed. So the jury is still out on this being a one-off or part of a tour. I have since wondered if she may be using this as a premier show to celebrate the release of the new record. And the record will be released the week before or after. You know, like what Adele did with the one off show in Radio City Music Hall in NYC in November. Just thoughts.... I got to think the album has to come out sooner than later. And no offense to Hayley, but I think she would get lost in the shuffle during the Christmas season (Oct to Dec), and Jan/Feb is already over. So we got 7 months, and I think CA trip was recording music. Hope it is anyways. It puts May/June as a good time, just my humble thoughts and guesses. PS Love to go! <3 Tell her guys she can come back to the USA without an album at the end of the year if it's not ready. haha It has been plenty of time since Madison for another Greatest Hits concert if in fact that is what this is.  |

That's what I was thinking, too, since in Taiwan, she said she'd be going into the studio to "make preparations" for her new album. I'm going to have to find that quote again. Isn't kind of sad when our only hint at news is from a computer-translated article?  She's been in CA often enough in the past 2 years that it has to be album-related. We already know for a fact that at least one of those trips was for songwriting (Nov. '14), and she spent about 2 weeks there then. Then, only a few months later, she's back again for that Italia thing, and then visits a church with Vittorio... and then was in NY with Vittorio not much later! It's all so confusing! Oh, and don't forget her Hollywood selfie from July '14... This last time, it seems she was there at least a week (we still don't know where she's been since the OJ photo!). One can only reasonably assume these trips were more than just vacations (though obviously she's enjoyed the sights while she was there; who wouldn't?). And don't forget the New York trips. |

But again, it's hard if Hayley is not wanting to talk about it yet. Hayley and Co. are not trumpeted about this new album yet, and she didn't seem like "hey! I'm working on a new album! It will be out soon! Stay tune!" in Taiwan. So I wonder if after not making her orignal schedule of a releasing last year, she is not committing to anything yet until it's in the can. Not to get our hopes up again. As far as the article saying "next year", while that is not the best of news, I have noticed that Hayley has been more active in the last 6-8 months on twitter and in public activities. Her standard albums have 12-14 songs, right? And you just mentioned 5 trips in your post without the other NYC and Sweeden trips. If each trip was a track (probably more for some trips), then I would think we are close to the standard requirement. She recorded and released 17 songs for Hushabye (all editions) and Paradiso had a total of 16. Makes you wonder if she is close to having enough, especially if she compiles stuff before Paradiso and in between Paradiso and Hushabye. Just thinking out loud here. Back on topic, LOL...how many are going so far? Is this part of a concert series for the orchestra or something? My thought is that she went to Ireland before coming to Madison, WI. Does that mean she could come back to the USA? |

I was just sad that it was our ONLY source of any news on the album, which is basically what you just said right there, too, you probably just made it sound better. Her late 2014 LA trip included songwriting with both Pam Sheyne and Stephan Moccio. If I remember right, she had a trip to NY before that (in Oct.?), and I think that was her first session with Jeff Franzel). Then there was the "Uppsala sessions" with Petter in Sweden not long after. On her next trip to NY which I think was March or April of last year (I've just been browsing her Instagram photos again), again with Petter, and she was holding a book in her hand, which indicated more songwriting. But let's also remember that we've had some studio shots, one in which Hayley was wearing headphones in front of a mike, and Petter was behind her playing guitar. So, what remains to be seen is whether all of those studio sessions were only demo sessions, or if any of them were actual recording sessions. While it's true we got used to her telling us when she was recording for real, like for the last 3 major albums (and we even got a hint about the recent Japanese album), I don't feel less confident that she'll tell us this time. But, if she let us know about all the studio sessions and the recent duet, you'd think she would. We just have to be patient... again. I keep telling myself that! LOL Yes, her albums are usually 12-15, usually more like 13-15, though. UK and Japan usually get the most out of that. Let's just hope Hayley is able to let us all hear the same songs! Yes, in 2014 she had the concert in Cork, and also in June of that year she performed in Dublin. That's where we got the new header photo for the forum. |

NCH is not a good place for photography though, if I remember the last time I was there. I think they are quite strict about it.
