ABBA were from somewhere up there..they didn't do to badly.
and Libby I don't think we could condone that kind of carry on here in a law abiding country like this, I myself will be keeping an eye out that no such thing will happen here, all tourists will be carefully scrutinised at the point of entry and that can be very painful.

As for the concert being confirmed or not... Hayley's bound to post about this concert on Twitter and/or Facebook in due course, which will be sufficient confirmation. This seems to be our only line of contact at the moment. Richard

I think if the National Concert Hall are already selling tickets, one might assume all the paperwork is in order and arrangements (Pun intended) are being made for the orchestra. Maybe this was part of the reason for her recent visit to Dublin. Interestingly since her first concert in the NCH in 2007 the seat prices appear to have trebled. Oh but it is good to have something to look forward to.

I looked up the links on the official HW site and it said the following:- Hayley Westenra is exclusively managed by Bandana Management- info@banman.co.uk
Hayley is represented worldwide by Sarah Casey at Leighton-Pope Organisation. For booking enquiries, please contact: sarah@l-po.com / +44 (0) 20 8741 4453
When I tried Bandana Management it diverted me to another site where I could find no mention of Hayley.
I therefore sent this email:-
Dear Ms Sarah Casey,
Do you still handle Hayley Westenra/ If so could you please confirm that Hayley will be at the NCH Dublin on the !!th June 2016 as the forums including Hayley-Westenra-International do not appear to know.
Jim Guild (HWI member)
And have received this reply:-
Re: National Concert Hall Dublin/ Hayley Westenra. Sarah Casey (Sarah@l-po.com) Add to contacts 18:25 Keep this message at the top of your inbox To: James Guild Sarah@l-po.com
Hi Jim
Yes this is happening and Hayley will be making an announcement shortly.
Cheers
Sarah

Good work Jim.
Yes, Hayley is indeed represented by the Leighton Pope Organisation and she can be seen as one of the artists on its website l-po.com. Exactly how far this 'representation' goes at present is unknown but hopefully it will become clear in due course.
As far as Bandana is concerned the Management team has no further information so we are unable to advise exactly what the current situation is relating to its management of Hayley.

Well, I guess you've solved that issue, Jim! Good work Jim. Yes, Hayley is indeed represented by the Leighton Pope Organisation and she can be seen as one of the artists on its website l-po.com. As far as Bandana is concerned the Management team has no further information so we are unable to advise exactly what the current situation is relating to its management of Hayley. Martin This is the reason that I said a while back that I wondered if the long album delay was anything like the delay for Paradiso... I didn't want to go outright and say that I was wondering about mgmt. issues since I could've been way off, but now I'm starting to wonder if there has been, at some point, a similar scenario underway as in 2010, where she switched management. One thing I found through searching for Brian Lane is that apparently he has worked with Swedish artists before, so he very well could have something to do with that company, although I didn't see his name anywhere on that site. And anyway, Hayley's not Swedish, so how does that help her? However, when I google his name, I can't find anything up-to-date. Remember when she said goodbye to a tour manager, where there was a short clip of Hayley singing Jolene? Is a tour manager related to an artist's management, or would that be something separate? Will we ever be able to solve all these little mysteries?

Hi everyone, I should add that the Bandana Management contact details were left up on the official website and on our website deliberately, because if necessary, emails from promoters etc., can be forwarded on or automatically redirected. And now, the booking agent information (well spotted Jim!) is of course another way for contacts to be made and maintained. Things are moving on! Cheers, Dave

I think if the National Concert Hall are already selling tickets, one might assume all the paperwork is in order That's what 400,000 Garth Brooks fans thought too Ummmm. there was a recent plan to demolish the hall section of the NCH and rebuild a larger one. Just as well they didn't, we would be left with a derelict site with the way this country is going.

Now I know who bought B16! Welcome back to Ireland. Actually I haven't booked yet, but if seats are selling quickly perhaps I should. I think I need a new passport too! Plus the usual fun with flights and hotels, so I was hoping for a quick confirmation. Perhaps I need to re-read the reports from the last concert to remind me which flights and hotel I used. Martin D I've sent you a PM Martin
