Here are 2 photos I found on twitter (I posted the actual tweet in the social media thread): I wish we could see that new dress a little better. The next concert she wears it to is likely still months away!

Hi everyone,
We've been discussing the situation regarding "Echo", which is a bit tricky because we just don't know what Hayley's reaction is towards the posting of Youtube uploads recorded in Dublin of this new song, one that could well be on her next album. We normally allow concert video links etc. but in this case, we have decided to act more cautiously. But it does seem unfair that some of our members may not yet have found it on Youtube when many have done, so we've decided to post the details... but not in this main discussion thread.
Therefore, members who are logged in can now find out how to hear the song by checking the top of our "Hayley in Concert" board - look for "Concert Specials". You can also find out in there about a cover of 'Echo' made by Simba, and in both cases we will review the situation from time to time. We hope to use the new board for other things too, in the future.
I hope this addresses the concerns expressed by some members, and if anything else like this surfaces in the future, we now know what to do.
Dave

Well done Dave! I think in the absence of any guidance from Hayley that is the right thing to do.

Thanks, Dave! I think this decision was the best possibility given the uncertainty of Hayley's desires or intentions.

It's really too bad we don't have a better picture of the other new dress...

Sorry Libby, but that was the first half. It is too early to risk being thrown out.

Uh, well, some other folks risked it, but their photos didn't turn out well enough to see the proper color, or even the proper color of her hair.

They were further back I'm sure. In the front row you feel exposed. That dress was brown. I can't say much more.

Yeah, I remember you described it, and in the pics it does look brownish, but it turned out a sickly color or orangish brown. Well, I can only hope she wears it again at a future concert where photography is less restricted. Anyway, I wasn't complaining that you failed to get a picture of it, just expressing disappointment at not seeing it more clearly, no matter what the reason is. Whether it could be helped or not, I'm still a little disappointed. How about let's say I'm disappointed with the NCH photography rules. I was certainly disappointed about Madison's last minute rule!

I was quite surprised to see the fabric used in the dress the colour I saw was orange approx Pantone 172c.(Google Pantone 172c to c it) the fabric is quite rough with little nobbles of fabric about 3mm each spaced from each other by about 3mm. so here I am discussing the other dress.

I was quite surprised to see the fabric used in the dress the colour I saw was orange approx Pantone 172c. the fabric is quite rough with little nobbles of fabric about 3mm each spaced from each other by about 3mm. That seems to describe the material in the second dress - as I remember it. Joyce's 3 photographs show that stylish (orange) dress almost exactly as I saw it. It seems to me that the FB photo of the first dress (posted just before Joyce's photos) almost entirely misrepresents the colour. The lights seem to me to be playing tricks in that photo, on other objects and even on the faces of the orchestra members. The nearest to what I saw of the first dress is in the video of Songbird ... definitely brown and not orange or as rough material as in the second dress. Not really Hayley's style I think. I really hope Hayley doesn't wear that dress any more. Strange sometimes how perspectives can differ.

Oh Dopey me. The other dress was like metallic gold / brown / tan semi translucent / transparent. possibly a low count silk. a lot of perception of colour and texture can be down to the settings of the monitor you are viewing it on, very few are accurate on colour.

Found this photo by someone else on FB: This is the metallic gold as I saw it over black, the lighting did cause it to appear as several different colours during the performance. The nearest violinist to Hayley is Mia Cooper who also acts as orchestra leader.
