Well, now we (those of us not in attendance) know that Hayley was not the one singing A Time for Us, as I initially suspected... though I had imagined it was only played by the orchestra. It would certainly be nice if Hayley were to sing it sometime.
Comet and Martin, I now can say I know how you feel, and like you, I didn't want to recover, either. I'm sad that the memory is fading now. However, the incredible sound of her voice live has not faded. I can still hear the way she sang BOTW and IDAD, and now video recordings and the CD don't quite cut it anymore after hearing them live.

Thanks, Jim. Didn't realise the drums were so dominant! Paddy They sounded even more dominant from where I was on the front row Paddy! Martin D A little better where I was. Even though I was among the first to book, I chose to be a few rows back, thinking I'd get a better balance of sound. My wife remarked on the loud drums too. Must have been part of the 'new' arrangements or maybe the new Conductor? The Principal Percussionist (a past pupil) in the RTÉ Concert Orchestra was the same as in previous Hayley concerts. I think the video poster on YouTube may be the Swedish B&W photographer, who seemed to be on the the side balcony next to where the drums were. Anyway, Hayley WAS there and in full voice, well able for the orchestra. Paddy

OH MY GOODNESS.... If this is what we've been waiting for all these years, I don't mind waiting more! That song was PERFECT! Im sure once it's released it'll be my favourite Hayley song ever!! Brilliant tune, lovely orchestration, but overall, Mind blowing vocals!! Before, Hayley's music may not have been everyone's cup of tea, but that song, that ONE SONG can rule the world. Those high belted out notes, and the triumphant music can blow all contemporary big songs out of water, Titanium, Chandelier and the likes! This song is nothing like Hayley's ever done before and every bit Hayley at the same time! Seems like a very ambitious album from the vibes of it! Hayley's definitely planning a breakthrough I'm sure, and it's great that she's not shying away from big notes. It's one thing to choose not to sing high notes in a song, but it's a different thing to have big notes while writing music itself. That shows Hayley's confidence in her vocals. This should be released as a single with an awesome video! I'm sooo excittedd and Happy for hayley! Oh and the video, why is it Unlisted? It should be made public! (or the uploader might be waiting to upload more songs?)

But it sounded glorious what little bit I heard!! WOW! I'm completely excited to see what Hayley has in store for us!! Before, I was hoping Hayley would do a couple shows later this year, and they be in like NZ/Aussie/UK/Europe. But now, I'm a little selfish, and want her back in the USA! Hope she tours the USA when the album comes out, if not, I will need some help from the UKers.

Oh yes. Oh yes yes YES. I'm truly at a loss for words... Truly wonderful. Haha, now I'm DEFINITELY hyped for the new album! It's a shame he missed the first verse, but I am immensely grateful nonetheless. -Taylor

Well, I suppose since it is public domain now I can admit to having a full recording myself. So I've been listening to it for a while, and yes, I think some of you are starting to see what I mean when I talk about a new beginning for Hayley. Her other new song, "Greener Lands" you will find is very good too. This time we are talking about Hayley's music, not anybody else using her voice for their music or trying to cash in on a royal birth. I wasn't going to post it first for sure, since I didn't know how Hayley would feel about it. But yes, a great song, and we are right to be excited about the future. I came away from that concert with a real buzz - Hayley is back and better than ever.

Yes Martin, indeed Hayley was back and better then ever. However, the momentum must continue and Hayley must build upon this 'reinvention' to re-establish her rightful place within the public domain and within the music industry. I loved this apparent visit back to the type of music genre that made Hayley a unique star in the noughties, and her overwhelming success last Saturday, with the new songs in particular, must not be wasted. The earliest release of the next album, appropriate promotion and more live concerts are the minimum requirements for this reinvention to succeed. Of course, without the full backing of Decca in this dream I fear that we will continue to see Hayley once every couple of years, probably in Dublin. Martin

Well, I think Hayley has proved once again that she is still utterly unique. She has a spirituality that few others can match, a wonderful voice and an obvious talent for songwriting. She has a way of touching the souls of those who listen to her. She has been undersold in the past as we all know, and I too long to see her gain the recognition that her talent deserves. I have always felt like that about her, and always believed in her. I know that that is true of most others here too. That's why I went to Dublin. And that's why I came away overjoyed to see that even after such a long break, she is still if anything better than ever. Let's hope this time it works out for her.

Great performance but it's no more than a memory now. Talent is useless in an ongoing vacuum.
Hayley has at least two new songs of her own that could make a teasing single in advance of her long awaited album. Just a few more songs for an EP. Add some strategic concerts and promotions to build to the album release.
A further return to hibernation to write will just store the talent for a spring that dimly remembered glories alone will not recreate.
Now is the time to create stardom, not when an album is launched that wastes its sweetness on the desert air, because many have forgotten or almost given up hope.
Sometimes just one great song can launch a superstar. We may even have heard it on 11th June. Time does not wait ..

Hi everyone,
There are some concerns about whether or not we should allow links to Hayley's new material, this is something we will be discussing among the staff but for the moment, I've removed anything that links directly to it.
