Michael Ross has uploaded his video of Katie with G4 singing 'Barcelona'.
I saw G4 performing the same song with three different sopranos earlier this year; it's a pity I missed this one.

I was just about to post that video, and I see I've been beaten to it. Thanks John. Wonderful performance, and she holds a terrific note at the end. She is a very special singer and still only 15 years old. Well done Katie.

Another video from the "Back for Good" tour. Katie of the few singers, apart from Hayley, perhaps the only one, who I can listen to singing this song without cringing.

I've seen a lot of Katie recently, in fact I've seen her perform three times in the last 2 weeks. The first was at my church, as mentioned above. I also went to the Mary-Jess concert at St Peters Church Leire, where Katie also supported Mary-Jess.
Then yesterday evening I was at Leicester Cathedral, for a concert in aid of our local Air Ambulance, which flies two helicopters and covers Leicestershire and several surrounding counties. Katie is an ambassador for the air ambulance, and performed brilliantly.
Also performing was Katie's friend Lewis Mobbs (who was also at Christ Church), along with the wonderful De Montfort University Gospel Choir and X Factor winner Sam Bailey (who mentioed that she was missing the Leicester City European Champions League football match against FC Porto as we all were, but we didn't miss much - we had already qualified for the next round and didn't need to win so they put out the reserves and lost 5-0!). A very enjoyable evening. Sam Bailey was incredulous that Katie is only 15 years old.
Oh, and today is Katie's birthday. Happy 16th birthday Katie!

From Katie Marshall's Facebook page: Perhaps she was inspired when Classical Reflection reached No.3 in the classical charts with Echo. Richard

Lovely to hear someone other than Hayley singing Hayley's words to this. But after all, they were approved by Morricone. Martin

Saw Katie in Concert at ST Peters Church Leire yesterday. She was awesome, I really rate her as one of the finest young singers on the planet. She especially excels at operatic stuff. This is a far too short clip from her rendition of Laudate Dominum, accompanied by the excellent Musical Village Choir. I always loved Hayley's recording if Laudate Dominum, but I can't insist that this is worse, although it is far too short. Martin
