Haha, good one, John! I appreciate your teasers very much!  Though I'm a bit disturbed that you weren't able to meet her tonight. That makes me worry if I'll have to miss out, too.   After all my trouble, and not meeting Hayley would be very disappointing. The concert will be wonderful, of course, but it just seems like since I've gone to all this trouble, it might as well be worth it... I mean, REALLY, extra, worth it. She might just be very jet-lagged, but the problem might not be resolved when she has to fly all the way back to the US. |

I think she was whisked off to a reception with the Lord Mayors and the corporate sponsors. So much depends on the local organisers. Hi all I'm so glad I finally managed to catch Hayley in concert last night. It was very emotional for me, to say the least. Pretty sure I was fighting to keep back tears as she threaded her way through the orchestra for the first time. When she started to sing, I realised I kept forgetting to breathe. But I'm sure you can relate haha. She looked so beautiful and her dresses looked lovely on her! Didn't catch a glimpse of anyone with the HWI tartan ties unfortunately, but perhaps you all had better seats Couldn't help but wonder when the emcee made an announcement about HWI, who the lucky person who'd seen Hayley in concert 78 times is. Haha. I have a couple of 20 second videos that might be worth sharing. I've a new camera with video function and I didn't realise that my old memory card wasn't fully equipped to take videos D: What a pity. But I'll hopefully get at least one of the videos on some platform or other at some point. Hope everyone is well. Cheers, Joanne |

Yes, most of us were in the front row, having queued for about an hour before the doors opened, but you possibly experienced the sound better from further back. I think there were actually only two tartan ties in evidence, but I had better leave Grant to describe how that announcement came about |
